Speaker Profile: Doug has been greatly influenced by his parents. His mother has always been very spiritual, pure and charitable., His father was one of the most honest and dharmic persons Doug had ever met. Doug was brought into Swami's fold by his brother Bill, who is a bacon of love and divine light.
Brother Doug went to the University of Maryland and received a degree in microbiology in 1975. He is currently about to retire as Director of Quality Assurance for a program at the National Cancer Institute.
Doug has been to Puttaparthi four times, in 2001, 2004, 2010 and 2015 (for the pilgrimage). Doug has attended the Bethesda Sai Center for more than 20 years and the Washington, D.C. Center for about 12 years. Doug previously served as President for Region 2, the Mid-Atlantic.
