Nick Rattigan is one of the greatest musicians of our generation. The way he invokes emotion from the human spirit is unlike anything we’ve seen.

This is still true, and even more so now. Literally EVERYTHING Nick puts out it amazing. From the Advertisements, The Nicholas Project, Franco Years, Devil Worship, TELE/VISIONS, Current Joys, and Surf Curse, everything is golden. He is golden. I wish I could go back in time and tell him that his music is going to help so many people, myself included. I cannot wait for what the future holds. He has so many beautiful unreleased songs. Just truly from the bottom of my heart, thank you, thank you, THANK YOU. I love you and your spirit.

Every Current Joys song I've listened to has started off with me thinking "what is this, this sounds so weird". Then suddenly someone flicks a switch, and I hear the emotion coming out of the guitar and reverberating off my eardrums. He makes you melt and you have no idea how. I'm in love.

I used to dream of flying at night and looking down at a small town or village covered in snow with the chimneys leaking smoke. This song would have fit in those dreams.

Exactly. There are no words to describe it. This music just touches the very core of your heart. It makes you realize how broken you are and at the same time makes you feel okay being broken.

@hertegovinul75643 жыл бұрын
@@aidancornue2276 yeah it's not like your thoughts can change anything, maybe knowing the truth isn't that great after all, what if there is no heaven or hell, what if your soul is just ur brain and everything u do and think is based simply on experiences u had and the influence of others. What if u die and that's it, you couldn't think and listen to music or eat your favorite food and spend time with your loved ones, but keep in mind that ure dead so it doesnt even matter. And if there is heaven, what would you do for the rest of your life, but maybe i will die next week, spending your time thinking about stuff like this isn't good, if u do die and that's it at least you should feel like u lived when you die. Good night dear friend

If you read this it is a sign that everything will be okay. Life is beautiful and it would be a lesser place without you. Keep going, keep your head up and keep your heart strong. Do what you love. The world needs to see and hear the art you could bring. Have an amazing day. x

This is the first time in a while that I get to just listen to music and relax my body while engaging my mind. This music makes me feel happy and sad at the same time, like I’m longing for a place I’ve never been to or an event I’ve never experienced.

You know over the past several months after I had first discovered Current Joys, I couldn't properly manifest a feeling or what his music made me feel. After hearing this it became apparent to me. HIs music consumes me, the enchanting surreal guitar riffs and life-teeming vocals that stem from genuine lyrics that I can comprehend in almost every aspect. It turns my mind into a tangible reality that I am transported into whenever I play one of his tracks and I experience the song in 3 dimensional world. Nothing induces the feeling that Current Joys does.

This song invokes a feeling of wanderlust with a hint of sadness in me. Its beautiful.... It makes me remember when I would hop in my car and drive a few states away just for the sake of wandering. It makes me tear up.... because I remember feeling so sad and lost but also euphoric from the feeling of freedom I felt from wandering. I didn't feel at home no matter where I was. Until I met this special someone and now he is my home.
