Thanks for the update, really enjoyed. My zelkovas leaves are still eaten by some bug as I can see those eaten holes in them even after all leaves removal. The new leaves got the same probs.
@bonsai-shinshi2 жыл бұрын
Thank you for your comment. Did the insects eat the zelkova leaves? Japanese zelkova is not eaten by insects very much.
@gizmundos2 жыл бұрын
@@bonsai-shinshi I appreciate your answer. I think the insect did it although I haven't search for help in hope next years will be better. I did not see any insect though. I took pictures you can see here drive.google.com/drive/folders/1-74IMll22XSB9iZkVr3rql6C-x7sWDQj?usp=sharing

I really like your aesthetic and can see that the work you do is bold and usually very successful. Can I ask, why do you keep so many of your bonsai in what appear to be temporary pots? Is this just a style I don't know, or are they not yet ready for the sort of shallow tray-like pots I see holding mature bonsai?
@bonsai-shinshi2 жыл бұрын
In Japan, we put them in beautiful pots only in the year of exhibition.
