well chucky is a soul that is stuck on a doll which means he can never get out of the body of the doll in child's play 3 chucky screamed because he realized he's back you can tell that he never wanted to get stuck in the body of the doll but in the end. there is no way out which makes him immortal because he is a soul.

@@lilisha9829 I personally agree with you, but in the 5th movie (I can't remember if it's the 5th but the title is "Seed of Chucky", Chucky accepts to stay a doll forever and likes his infamous reputation as Chucky the killer doll.
