When I was younger, I thought the scariest things at Disney world was haunted mansion, tower of terror, but also the dinosaur ride. I used to not like going on haunted mansion along with the dinosaur ride because I was easily spooked and I don’t like loud sounds. At my young age, I wasn’t able to go on tower of terror due to how short and little I was. But as of now, my fear of those rides kind of changed and I actually enjoyed them along with expedition Everest. Though, I do fear other things like, the thought of being at a closed Disney park, being stucked on a ride that’s upside down, or actually being killed on a ride that’s moving. leaving Disney world was and still is a sad process, to put up with because you see people all around you having fun but, you’re forced to go home.

@@aaronjames3228 Dinosaur and HM were always favorites of mine to a degree since childhood but I feel you. Splash Mountain terrified me and although I still can't ride because of the fear of the drop, I did come to love the characters a lot. I also used to be easily spooked but usually more by movies and TV. Part of me would love to be at a closed Disney park and the other part just dares that other half not to fall into the water on Small World in the dark... I'm very clumsy and don't like being submerged. I would not like being stuck upside down. Being upside down is one of the things that made me never ride roller coasters again. I wouldn't wanna be killed either. Period. Regardless of whether or not I'm on a ride when it happens. And yes, despite all of the issues that may arise within a theme park for a guest with individual phobias, it is difficult to leave Disney because there are still so many reasons to enjoy your time there. When I have to get on that Magic Express to leave late at night from the parks, I think of how long it will be until I get to hug one of the fuzzy, adorable characters again or how long it will be until I get to rejoin the Graveyard Crew in singing "Grim, Grinning Ghosts" or how long it will be until I see my Bears "live and in concert" again... and now as an adult who finally buckled into her need for dinosaurs at Disney because they closed the tamer ride, Ellen's Energy Adventure, I leave wondering when I'll get to say hello to Aladar again, too. It may have taken me time to really enjoy the ride but I have always loved his movie and him since I was little. I was absolutely ecstatic the first time I finally survived the ride with my eyes open because it was my first time seeing an Aladar animatronic in person. The first time I had gone on it as a little girl, I closed my eyes the entire time because the crazy movement of the ride vehicle made me very nervous. (Anyone else notice they tend to get increasing anxiety when they're shaken around?)

Plot twist: the bears were trying to save the kid. The smiling bear just staring wasnt staring at you, it was at the person behind you who was the kidnapper. When you came back to see big al saying blood blood blood, he was trying to tell you it was too late. The sad bear cub was a tribute to your brother

I remember one time going to Disney world and seeing the show, it was a little disturbing but the laughter around you and lack of concern normally washed away any paranoia. I really didn’t like the animatronics though, even though the show was something I enjoyed. My brother on the other hand cried and seemed frightened out of his mind. I got a coin from a slot machine nearby, funnily I don’t remember there being a little bear who didn’t sing as part of the group. I may have simply not noticed it, for the lack of attention brought to it, or I never actually saw it and this brought back a foggy memory.

SPOILER WARNING HERE ok, the ending with the theory of elijah becoming the lil' bear animatronic is already pretty cool, but i think the creep factor is upped *perfectly* by the fact that, if i'm remembering correctly, that bear's canonical name IS elijah.

Nah. The name is actually Baby Oscar! But it is still freaky cause Baby Oscar DOES look really sad. He has his mouth puckered up and eyes lidded like he's absolutely miserable. That's what freaked me out. Plus the fact that he doesn't do anything in the show except sometimes squeak which is also odd. It's almost like he appeared there one day with no purpose in the show haha. Spookyyyyy~

The scariest ride at disney land to me is the creepy stories you hear about from the haunted mansion. It's not that the ride is scary...it's the stuff that goes on behind the scenes. Oh, and another one is small world. I heard once an employee hung themselves while guests were on the ride and the ride had never been the same after that. Terrifying. But cool. (Obviously not about the employee, but the ride itself. I do not condone suicide and it's just a rumor.)

A bit late but there's one detail mentioned that bothered me: You mentioned that the attendance in the Country Bear Jamboree when the park first opened was very spotty, this is actually false. Country Bear Jamboree was extremely popular in the first 10-20 years of the Magic Kingdom with lines stretching out in the streets of Frontierland (which is actually the reason why the later built versions at Tokyo Disneyland and formally Disneyland had 2 theaters instead of 1 like Magic Kingdom has)

Definitely have fond memories of this show as a child. The show that they run at Disneyworld is not the same as the one they use to have at Disneyland. There was no mention of blood in the original Country Bear Jamboree show, this is all new weird stuff.

I admit, I like the Country Bears Jamboree. It's cheesy and goofy (and the bears are a little weird looking), but I like the music at least. Plus, it sort of holds a special place in my family. My 92 year old grandfather is named "Alfred" and folks called or still call him "Al" or "Big Al" like the bear, while my mother has always calls him "Papa", sometimes "Papa Bear". They even got him a figurine of the character. So yeah, it holds a nice spot with us. Still, great story and, I will admit, while I like all of the show, the little bear DID weird me out a tad. I mean, why did they REALLY put him in, I wonder.

Like the concept. Country bear Jamboree can be unnerving for small kids. But the animatronics saying “blood. Blood blood” and a new animatronic being installed at the same time kinda threw me off. Definitely would’ve worked if you just kept it as animatronics breaking down/ malfunctioning in more subtle ways as the brother went missing. It would’ve been more tense especially if you did something with a cast member dressed up as one of the bears or something. Just a small critique tho!!! Otherwise I love the idea and narration!!!! You did a incredible job narrating as usual
