He beats his girlfriend to death with a stick and can't control hit because his mind is beyond repair. The look of despair in his eyes as he had killed Bo is everything. It's truly a terrifying and beautiful song. A story about a tragedy that we all would cry about.

The total desperation you can hear in buzz’s voice as he’s trying to reason with woody, slinky’s attempted at apologizing, woody’s obviously regretful tone when responding to his once girlfriend, Andy’s dreadful cry for woody to come back to who he really is, woody describing the horrors he went through alone at Sid’s feeling betrayed and not cared for, it’s all terrifying and saddening to see. The characters we all once watched have fun and play together are now torn apart, crying, and even turning on each other. This is so heartbreaking but at the same time so realistic, this song has changed me as a person. Life is short, times with friends can be shorter and break easily, even those that feel like they never could break. I’ve honestly never seen a song this heartbreaking and so thought out like this. It uses characters we’ve known and established as great friends and even lovers that once felt like it was impossible for them to break apart, and shows us how being tormented and ridiculed for what felt like ages without any friends in sight can break a person. I love this song, thank you Aaron

The sequence at 0:54 is truly a masterpiece of literature and cinema. At first, Buzz tries to reason with Woody, but to not avail. Woody has already been changed irreversibly into a monster after the seemingly endless days of torture Sid put him through. He then proceeds to kill Buzz, as he was his replacement; his greatest rival. Next, he moves onto Slink. Slink apologizes and pleads for another chance, and whilst Woody is tempted, he ultimately decides that Slink is just another pawn who left him to Sid. Then, Bo appears and tries to put an end to Woody's slaughter. This time, Woody shows a glimpse of his old self, as Bo tries to reason with him. But ultimately, Woody is too far gone after killing the other toys. He feels regret, shame, guilt, but regardless, he knows it's too late for him now. Then at last, he finds Andy; the guardian who failed to protect him from the horrors of Sid. Andy was the master of the puppets; the one who kept all the Toys enslaved in the desolate prison of his bedroom. And after all these years of torment, agony, anguish, Woody was the big kid now...

I can't help think about how uncanny this all is. Every time I listen to this and the original song I get goosebumps and that spine-tingling feel. It hurts to imagine woody going on a murder spree on some of his beloved friends that we all know and love. It's so unsettling and I can't help but fear that woody might get me in my sleep as well. That just proves that this is a wonderful piece of modern-day horror and its a twist on the regular murder stories we all are familiar with.
