Wow ! I just discovered Curtis through TFATWS ending, and goddamn ! What an artist !!! It's fantastic to discover such great funky/groove/Soul musician/singer in this day and age. Got me straight back to the 70's ! Such fantastic sound and vibes !

I never gave up my vinyl, and did buy Face Your Fear on LP. Some artists seem to cry out for physical releases and I reckon Curtis Harding is one. Major talent.

A soul song for a future Tarantino movie, cinematic and smooth. Not since the Heavy have I heard original songs sounding this epic, so epic it doesn’t feel like seven minutes which is VERY brave to release it won’t get AirPlay. Very good composition. I can’t wait to see him when he tours. The song does borrow a bit from other famous songs of the original period, but I guess that’s chord scales for you.

I really love his awesome vocals and songwriting but that Curtis plays his own guitar leads makes me adore him even more. But this song, woowee it’s a whole ‘nother world: the flute and keyboard on the outro were a total surprise but SO perfect for the vibe. Great song!
