Learning a strong mentality. I feel like this is something that is more significant in childhood. The most elite mentalities are crafted at a young age. The Spartans realised this and so did many other cultures. You can't train a boy like you'd physically train a fully grown male warrior but you can prepare his mind for it.

Here is one I have never herd mention of LOW BLOOD SUGAR ! FIGHTERS should be tested right before a fight. You could be in the greatest shape of your life, walk into the ring and in 2 rounds you are gassed ! Athlete's are like race cars, the trainer should always test for blood sugar levels especially when an athlete is cutting weight.

@@happylifegrace4674 My son is an athlete. He is a black belt in TAE KWON DO he has had many competitions in this sport some years back. His work effort was incredible 3 classes a day 7 days a week. This was Olympic. Tae Kwon. Do.I noticed early on he had hypoglycemia cause by his training for competition. Athletes burn a tremendous amount of calories training. Test my son after extreme training I discovered he had low blood sugar. He had a competition at Brown University, and he would have 6 matches that day. So in between matches I would give him a Yoo Hoo.I noticed at that competition he had incredible recovery between matches. I would also do this before his classes, I noticed gains in his work outs. Ahteletes that compete are like a high performance machine, and burn much more energy that a normal person. Try this with your fighters I guarantee you and your fighters will see improvements in their performance and endurance. I like yoo hoo it is lite and worked perfect.

1:40 First off, sex is not "a simple act". The body and the brain are literally doing millions of different things simultaneously doing the act of intercourse so it's not a simple act as Teddy says. Also to answer his question about how what he calls a simple act can cause you to be fatigued is because once you reach climax or ejaculation (for the male) he expends most all of his white blood cells into the woman and the white blood cells are what the body uses to carry oxygen to the muscles. This is how a fighter will fatigue or possibly 'can' fatigue quicker than he normally would if he has a marathon sex bout the previous night or that morning. You get tired quicker whether you notice it or not because men expend/lose white blood cells when they climax. This is a physical takeaway; NOT an addition. What I have noticed though is that every female who ingests my sperm develops Wonder Woman-like abilities.

Just because one guy has sex before he fights and it doesn't effect him, doesn't mean now 99% of fighters can now have sex before fights and get the same results. That's like saying, I can eat all the candy of the world and not get diabetes so the same should apply to everyone else etc.

Sure its not 100 percent scientific but its much more scientific than a myth that does not seem to make sense.

@@cptmaj Diets exist for a reason when a fighter trains for a fight he stays away from certain foods, he sometimes tells himself if I win ill treat myself to something nice if I win, The same can be said about women but I'm all about science if someone can show me a ratio of sex vs nonsex that would be interesting.

The not having sex before a fight probably helped fighters stay focused with the task at hand, and kept them from going out and trying to get laid the days before a big fight.

After I have sex, I do feel just a little bit lazier throughout the day. Definitely a little sleepy, and definitely more contented, a bit more docile). That's even if it was just a bj. I'm not a boxer, but I do feel more aggressive and motivated in general when I've been abstaining for a few days.

Got to disagree with Teddy here. If a fighter is consumed by his passions and messing around with harlots, the lust is going to darken his mind and erode his fighting spirit. That’s not to say a good lady in your life is a detriment, but if it’s some base fling with a broad of questionable morals yeah, your not operating at peak performance, that’s distraction! Teddy comes from a purely mechanical perspective on this, he’s right that sex doesn’t change things on a level of conditioning, but I’m talking about metaphysics here... The passions must be controlled and subdued by the warrior, not the other way around, boxing is war so prepare accordingly... WOMEN WEAKEN LEGS, simple as...

If a boxer had sex in the changing room just before the ring walk that would definitely affect performance in the boxing ring, you’d be depleted of energy for sure. But the night before is ok I’d say.

No it's a fact. Anyone who works a hard labor job, if they are honest, will tell you that 100% without a doubt, sex lowers every level of the things you need when it comes to fighting. You are definitely weaker. Listen man, I work outside everyday in the cold, in the heat, and after doing so for 20+ years now, you start to notice the days that you are on and the days you aren't. And the days I'm not, they all have one thing in common. Do not pop anything off inside of 24 hours. And to be honest, longer if you can. It is a true fact..hold it in my friends.
