Always building bikes as a hobby, I started 2020 with a bigger project in mind : Record my meticulous steps to bring my bike to life.

C'est une gaine plastique en spirale qu'on trouve régulièrement donné avec les vélos complets Scott. Ça se trouve facilement au nom de 'spiral wrapping'

How to get raw carbon gambler frame? They all come painted, did someone removed all paint? I kind of doubt because unlike aluminium frame if you sand it, it can go deeper than just paint removal. Maybe it was removed with chemicals?

How did you get just the frame? I want to build my own scott ransom, but they do not sell frames individually.

This is a Scott DH Factory Team frame (2019 pre-series). Your best option would be on the second-hand market, Scott sells framesets but no frame only.

This is a pipe cutter, if you need one make sure the diameter you want to cut is within the range of the cutter you get as they are multiple sizes. It makes the cuts very clean and linear without having metal dust.

7999 $ with a fox 49, a DHX2, sram brakes and XO transmition, but the one he built has no price bc there are a lot of custom parts

That's a mix of different parts, used, built, sponsored & purchased. It would be hard to give an exact number but it's more expensive than the Tuned level for sure, it may stand between 9 to 10k. The most important is not its value but how much fun it gives you. Price is just adding performance and reliability.

Hahaha yeah they are the most obvious used parts but they stand free from troubles and still perform very well, the wheelset is also used, crankset, bottom bracket seat tube, discs, titanium bolts...

I had to use license-free music and KZfaq Music Library doesn't offer much choice for +15min soundtracks, that was the best choice at the making of this video.
