This is a cute gift idea for people with pets, obviously painted so it looks like their pet! My parents have a wooden nativity scene and every year I give them some kind of figurine, light, accessory etc. This past Christmas I bought a cat and painted it so it looks like their cat. It turned out so incredibly cute and it's obvious that it's handmade because their cat has a unique pattern. They loved it. 🙂

My mum used to do this. A while back, my parents had cows, that had a very specific colour pattern and obviously you couldn't find any of these to buy. So she bought some of these Schleich cows and painted them to fit my dad's cows, adding new ones when there were offspring. It was cute! Love how these turned out. I want them aaaaall!

How fitting- just today my grandma was telling me some stories about her next-door neighbours' mischievous cat, Casper, who looked just like the first white kitty! His adventures include sneaking into my grandparents' garage and eating their Christmas turkey, and wandering into the back of a delivery van and winding up lost many miles away 😂

Oh goodness, these brought tears to my eyes. I just recently had to put down my cat due to kidney issues, so the orange one has a really special place in my heart due to the fact that she was an orange and white tabby. I got three Magical Doremi dress charms at a con but got two orange and a blue instead of one of each of the main three girls. So I bought a paint set and painted one pink like the main character's dress and bam! Got em all 🥰

This is such a good idea for blind box figurines! I think not everyone has the time/energy for a full doll custom but re-painting a blind box is a lot more doable :)

I loved the black cat one, I myself have a black cat and whenever she's in the sun she has a reddish and orange tint to her fur. I honestly love seeing her in the sun and how her fur doesn't look black at all but more red and orange, I honestly didn't notice it at first but I noticed after it had been pointed out and I truly love that fact. It's honestly amazing.

Blind box toys are made in batches i.e. one figure type at a time. They then start the next batch with the changes to the next figure. All Blind box toys have a batch number printed on the box somewhere for quality control. A good tip is to only buy boxes that have numbers that don't match. It will help reduce the amount of duplicates you receive. Or if you want tons of one figure buys some and open until you find the figure you want. Then take the box it came in and buy boxes with the same number to get more as they will have been made in the same batch. I hope this helps someone.

My black cats actually have fangs like that, they're so long that they poke out of their mouths. The kitties are so cute. I couldn't paint on such a miniscule surface for the life of me, let alone implement so much detail
