Custom Built Bedroom and Bathroom Addition

We contracted to build a new master bedroom and remodel an existing bedroom. This was a complicated project since we had 2 different roof lines to work with. We also added approximately 1400 SF of multi level decks.

I'm a carpenter's daughter. In my opinion, you have done a great job, for a fair price. I've been reading the comments, and, some people have been taken. This family picked the right contractor, thank you for being honest and caring about a job well done.

He answered the question of how much it costs. 55k. He did a great job. Most that money went for his work material probably cost about 10k to be honest.

Omg The quality of the work looks fantastic . Can you recommend someone for me near north bergen county New Jersey ? Everything here since we are near to New York costs a fortune . Please share any ideas you can. I’d love to expand my tiny cape and utilize my one car garage to expand kitchen and dining space.

Beautiful job! I wish you were in Massachusetts, we got quoted 125k for master bedroom addition for less then 400sf!

I sure hope you didn't hire the person to do that job for $125,000 I don't know about building codes in the state you live in but two by fours have to be 16 in on Center you can figure out certain thicknesses of wood for the roof of flooring cement for the flooring you can figure out prices for sheets of drywall 125000 for 400 square feet I would say 85% of that cost it's going to be labor and I'm sure if you have any small amounts of talents you can get the permits yourself family friends whatnot that's ridiculous

$55k?!? I could buy a house for twice that! I whole house! Dear God… we’re wanting to add a simple bathroom onto our modular home, not tub/shower just a toilet and sink and now I’m scared it’s gonna cost like $30k 😫

55 that's on the low end. If could have found one for that price it would be up now. Understand that was 3 years ago, Yeah. Just a rough add that doesn't include plumbing is probably 40-45. I had 3 quotes come in , 1 for early 70, 1 for 90, and another a of people who probably a lot cheaper ut their license and insurance was suspect

The video was more about listening to the customer and their needs/wants. It takes a professional to put something like this together, from start to finish with over 15 different trades involved would have been very difficult and lengthy. What you refer to as yapping, others refer to as amazing, awesome, well planned and good quality. We are not a teaching contractor, we actually make money building dreams, not just filming them. I do hope you find a DIY video you can use.
