Custom Built Home | The Chatham | Pre-Occupancy Tour

Pre-occupancy tour of “The Chatham” which is a custom built 1 story single family home. It has 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, 2 car garage and is approximately 1534 square feet. This custom built home took about 4 months and I took over the build right at framing.

Take your time and select the perfect layout for “you”. I recommend crawl over slab if you don’t have a reason for slab such as accessibility. Try to keep you foundation height around 32” to avoid addition cost. Pick a spot that’s roughly flat so there’s no issue with grading and water runoff. Don’t select a bunch of add on options as you can always come back and upgrade at a way cheaper price. Finally, if it’s 2 stories, make sure that there are 2 separate HVAC systems and have them to install dampers on every take off.
