Happy Birthday Miku! It’s been twelve years since Vocaloid Hatsune Miku was first released, and we’re going to celebrate with a custom doll collaboration! Moonlight Jewel, Hextian, Doll Mill, Anastazia Custom, Culur, H ALI Crafts, and The Doll Fairy are collaborating to create a whole bunch of dolls inspired by Miku and the songs she sings!
I'll be making a doll based on the song "Deep Sea Girl," or "Shinkai Shoujo" in Japanese, by Yuuyu.

This doll turned out absolutely gorgeous!! As for my favorite vocaloid- hot take but it’s Tonio. I adore that Flamboyant Opera Man, he deserves so much more love!! Also YOHIOloid, his range is excellent and his voice is quite versatile~

She’s gorgeous..the eyes are really pretty ..try using the yellow on brown eyes too makes them look pretty I do when I colour helps to give them the clear glassy look you get at the bottom 😀

You did such a good job with the sad expression! The eyebrows obviously are really good, but the bottom outer corners of the eyes are shaped in a way that's so subtly different, but changes the entire expression. Amazing

She's beautiful! I love the gradient color in her eyes. :) I'm a longtime fan of Vocaloid as well, though Miku was never one of my faves to listen to; her voice is oftentimes too high-pitched for it to be pleasant to my ears, but she does have some really good bops to her name regardless. My favorite of her original songs is "Rolling Girl," closely followed by "Nebula."

I’d honestly love to see a Bad End Night series Miku doll! It’s definitely...darker than this one (not too bad though!) but the theme and designs in that series are so fun, you might want to check it out if you haven’t already :) Miku’s outfit in that series is so cute 😭

I only first discovered Vocaloid in my college years, but I've always wanted a figurine of either Hatsune or Luka. I decided to try my hand at doll customizing & chose Luka Megurine as my first doll custom. I just finished her (other than doing her boots - still trying to figure those out) but I'm so happy I made her. I'd love to see you try to make the others too!

I love Miku, and her style and songs, I’m so hyped for it... or is it the sugar that I just consumed *thinks for a second* pff, nah, it’s the customs. And when you didn’t sew all layers to the waste, I know exactly what you mean. I tried to make a Lollita dress with all the layers attached to the waste and it was so thick that it became nearly impossible to see together, so I made the approach to it that you did with the layers instead.

Might be a dumb idea but it's worth a try, I know you can reroot with Yarn, so, maybe if you need to do Miku again, try finding a ball of yarn with the same colour and use that for the fringe? I don't know might work, might not but it's worth looking at I guess?
