Here's another look at the below deck portion with the flight deck removed.
I was still adding details at the time but I thought I should keep it available for viewing as you can really see clearly the hangar deck and other details.

Wow, this is the coolest G.I. Joe custom Flagg I ever seen. Great detail and design and you kept it at the 7 and a half feet which is even more impressive because it looks so much bigger then the original. You should really have more views! So many G.I. Joe fans missing out on seeing this thing. Thanks for sharing it with us.

A super -sized Cwiz in fact. Cause let's face it, G.I. Joe is the elite and kick ash... (...joes don't swear...) That's also why there's only one arrestor cable. If you can't hit the one cable you don't deserve to be a Joe !! Yo Joe!

How you do the safety hand rails?

The handrails were made from steel rods and I used JB weld to join them together. It was very difficult and time-consuming as the cure time was 24 hours and I had to make ways to hold them in place. I have thought of better ways since then and might even upgrade the design someday. The rails on the original FLAGG toy only came up about 1/3 of the height of the figures so I really wanted to make it more real life. Glad you enjoy the design. !! More to come.... Yo Joe!

Of course the toy version of the F.L.A.G.G is not in true scale and none of the vehicles ever were. The function and size maintain a useable size with a degree of imagination. I tried to keep my design of the F.L.A.G.G close to the original toy but with slight enhancements. I believe that the elevator platform to raise and lower the aircraft between decks is too small on the original toy and mine is similar in size. However, I took the creative liberty to add to my design a unique pull out ledge on my elevator platform thus making it long enough to hold the jets in place and simply slide back in when not in use. Yo Joe! G.I Dad P.S. I never showed this feature on any videos. You are the first to inquire about it. It shows lots of creativity in you. Make good use of this gift. !!

15.5 " wide x 12" deep (that extends to 16" with my slide out ) Hope it helps.
