CUSTOM: Gemmy Animated Spinning Snowflake Frosty The Snowman | The Gemster - (HOW TO)

Күн бұрынIn this video, I'll demonstrate how to repair and customize a Gemmy Spinning Snowflake Frosty the Snowman. The completion of this video took about a week due to unforeseen circumstances. Midway filming this video, I noticed an exhaust leak on my car and had to repair it. As shown in the video.
I got this one for about 5$ on Facebook Marketplace. He was in pretty bad shape. I cleaned him up a bit before the video.
The bag of replacement gears was purchased at Microcenter. You can find them almost anywhere though. Making this video has been a journey. I hope you all enjoy it!

Was a bit echoey at parts but other than that, it was an amazing video! Loved watching the process. You literally made Frosty happier in the end

Thanks! Yeah ik... We're doing a lot of construction in the apartment and some parts were filmed when everything was out of the room causing more echo in certain areas. Also, this mic I have isn't the best. I'm glad you liked it though! He is definitely much happier :)

You did everything correctly according to my sister who has been repairing these things for years She leaves the lights on She just unscrews the snowflakes and opens the tip of the hand Because she likes to keep them perfect

Imo you should have also adjusted the pitch resistor to play the tune in a more jolly key, this is a perfect restoration with a nice customization!

I know right! I kept the same style just changed it a bit. I think now he looks more like the real deal. Now, they started using a face similar to this one

I like the frosty face. Its better than the green hat and the black hat frostys and it gives it’s face a better reputation for frosty then the old ones.

Thanks! So, I took an image of frosty I found online and i imported the photo into photoshop, cut up the pieces, resized them to fit the face and laser cut them out of felt. I’ve never done anything like that before so it was definitely a learning experience to get perfect
