Good lord the finished guitar is stunning. You've done it again Dan. You made me like spiky heavy metal guitars and now you've made me like Telecasters. I swear to god, if you even think about touching a ukulele, I'm going to come over there and put a stop to it.

Ok, I'm hooked! I've watched another builder do his thing for about a month and your channel came up... I've watched two builds so far and I'm going to watch another as soon as I leave this comment! I need another guitar about as much as I need a broken hand, but I'm going to watch for when you put some up for sale!

notei que ele errou feio na altura do neck, ficou muito alto em relação ao headstock, mas o acabamento com esse Top ficou muito bom. Parabéns .

напишу по русски мастер не выдаёт секрет как сделать расчет расстояний между ладами на грифе, а всё остальное может сделать обыкновенный столяр , хороший столяр

Thanks! For this guitar I used some water-based stains from Crimson Guitars, specifically the Black and Pthalo Blue.

@@OrbitalGuitars Thank You, Yes, +1 to Crimson Guitars. One of my favorite colors is the way the wood's natural overtones mix with the Pthalo Blue to produce changing green overtones. And those inlays, I would guess that you used pieces of Abalone or Paua Shell (both so beautiful). Have you ever considered using any of the synthetic Opal materials available? Thank You Again, great content and fantastic looking instruments.

@@OrbitalGuitars Interesting, I thought it did appear to be the Opal material, I wasn't sure because I haven't seen it used very often. Once I catch-up watching more of your videos my questions will abate a bit. 👍😉

Did you leave the ferrules for the neck screws sticking out? Why not offset them so they're not on the edge?

The ferrules are not sticking out from the body, they just look odd because of the roundover on the back of the body, and the holes were drilled where they were because I wanted the body to be compatible with fender necks, which offset holes would not be.

What kind of finish is in the can? Lacquer? Or poly?

Is anybody else curious as to whether that huge chunk of infill behind the nut was intentional ? I've certainly never seen that before. Still a beautiful build though.

Мастер переводить дорогое красивое дерево в стружку. Зачем так много материала пускаете в отходы? На этой гитаре почему гриф с такой высокой накладкой? Чтоб голова отлетала? Что за вклейка сверху? Гитара с кучей косяков, зачем выкладывать? Странно видеть кучу хвалебных комментов.
