In this video I am going to custom paint denim jackets in 80s aesthetic.
Going back in time is a big trend : in fashion in music we can see the comeback of 70s-80s-90s-00s. So using these times aesthetics in customization it's a great and very interesting idea. The sixties had some interesting art. Also (believe it or not) the 1920s, like art nouveau plant shapes.

That is an awesome jacket. Loved the whole feel of it, it totally screams 80s. Well done and your idea for the 70s-90s series sounds cool. But you might have to pick a trend from each era to focus on. The fashion trend ear the end of the 90s was a return to the 70s lol just like in the 80s the 1950s was A popular fashion trend again along with the hair cuts. Lol. Have fun with this. Your awesome at it ❤️

Joker is such a cutie! hope to see more doggy on the channel!! super excited to give this a try on an older jacket i've got! got any tips on airbrush on fabrics, such as what to look for in paints and technique? nothin' more '80s aesthetic than airbrush illustrations!

You know I am not a pro in an airbrush. I have it actually, just a brush , haven't bought compressor yet (as it's quite pricey). But once I buy it I will definitely make a video on using it. But as far as I know you can mix fabric paint with water for airbrush and you don't need some special paints specifically for airbrush.

I use Pebeo fabric paints. You can buy them online or in art stores. Also you can buy Jacquard fabric paints or Arteza. Or you can buy acrylics and mix them with fabric medium

Hi! I’m a new subscriber, I love seeing what you create and have recently started painting on clothes myself. I just had a couple questions around setting your designs. How do you set your designs? Do you use the same technique to set designs on a t-shirt and on the corduroy pants you painted as well? Once again, love you work. So inspiring☺️

Hi! I set designs using iron and pretty the same way for all kind of clothes. I iron on the reverse side or through some thin cloth for 5 minutes (but if clothing can't be ironed like puffer jacket for example , I use hairdryer to set paints)

Hey, what if I didn't like the painting I did on my jacket and I want to do it over, do I just put white paint over it and start again?

Well it depends on how much paint you already have on your jacket. Because if you already have a multilayered artwork on jacket and then you will put more paint on top of it, your artwork will be very stiff and it will crack. But if you have just 1-2 layers on your jacket you can put 1-2 layers more.

You can get fabric medium and mix with acrylic paint or fabric paint. I got mine off amazon from arteza
