The original HeMan toy in the 80s came with a similar sword that was missing the rear half. You combined it with the opposite half of the sword that came with Skeletor, to complete the Sword of Power.

I'm so proud of how far you've come Jazza, the new place looks great and you'll really be able to create almost anything, even gigantic peaces. I reamember when you use to have to old wall, admittedly I did like it a bit more but the new one looks great to. You're such a great artist, you've inspired me to do so much and even go professional, if I can make it that is. I'm so happy for you and I can't wait to see what you make of it. Been doing this since my parents gave them to me in the late 80's. I was encouraged since I was very small to engage my imagination, and would repaint the figures, give them new powers and names, and voila my own superhero toys!

The dots on the back of the sword are for clipping to the other half of the sword which comes with Skeletor. Originally the storyline was going to be He-man and Skeletor battle over the sword because the sword opens Castle Grayskull. But they changed it to be He-mans sword. The toys were already though so half of the sword comes with He-man and half with Skeletor, and you insert it into the door on the Castle Grayskull playset to open it.

The pegs on the sword are meant to plug into the other half of the sword that skeletor has. This directly comes from the original version of he man were you fought over both Halves of the sword to control grayskull

The sword actually comes in two pieces with Skeletor having the other half, that's why it looks odd. It's a weird holdover from the original toy concept that never really got used.

Love your work. I have found that mixing coffee grounds with paint can add a great texture for dioramas, or even an interesting texture for certain paintings.

im 18 and i remember watching shera as a kid. my brothers are from the 80s so i guess that has something to do with it.
