I'm back just in time for #mermay ! So today we have a little under sea adventure!
I'm currently a bit addicted to collecting Rainbow High dolls and luckily have found a few second hand that I feel like I can have some fun with.

14mm Glass dome cabochons

Blue Tack
Supracolor Watercolor pencils

Jane Davenport "birthday suit" pastel palette
MSC Mr Super Clear sealant UV cut flat
Sculpey Gloss Varnish
UV Resin (as a top coat on the glass eyes)

I love how the shell top turned out. At first I wasn't sure it would work, but seeing it at the end, it really helps it come together.

She’s incredibly pretty! The eyes 😍😍 I have to try the whole cabachon method. I feel like I can’t do the whole squeezing the eyes through the eye holes thing with rainbow high, all the head squeezing after a faceup makes me so nervous haha

I think it works really well~! I didn't feel limited at all with her eyes. I do recommend still cutting the head open though. Or maybe masking them, or just spraying over and glossing later. BUT, I did the cabochon method with another doll (coming soon) and cut the head open and it was soooo much easier to work with. I cut out a lot of struggle here. It took me an hour to get her eyes IN properly lol.

Removing or touching up the painted underwear is cetainly tricky, I used acetone on SH's Heater and it did not seem to damage the plastic, but I had to use sandpaper in some spots anyway

She looks lovely, I just need to finish my Ice Floe Siren just by Styling her hair, I already finish her body, face, doll stand now all that's left is her hair. Sadly my friend Creg's 3d printer is a little under the weather so I gonna have to go on Etsy shop for a 3d printer person to 3d print her Trident. Her picture are on google, can't miss it. Happy Mermay to all. :D
