Custom RESIN Table for Ten Hundred... ++New MURAL at Abandoned Building

Күн бұрынIn this episode, we make a live edge epoxy resin inlay coffee table for @Ten Hundred from that old tree stump I found in the trash at the abandoned building!!! But will Ten Hundred like this DIY epoxy logo table??
Bonus: This DIY coffee table was made during a mega collab with @Kiptoe, Ten Hundred, and Austin from @Red Bud Builds - and Ten Hundred and Kiptoe painted an epic mural in the abandoned building garage!
RENOVATION UPDATE NOTE: this video was filmed back in August. It just took 8 weeks before my schedule synced up with Ten Hun’s so I could make delivery…. Don’t worry, I’ve been hard at work on the building renovation over the last month! :) Lots more renovation content dropping in the next 2 weeks!
So you get two for the price of one with the whole process of painting the mural in the abandoned building included as well!
We started this epoxy resin coffee table by slabbing the old maple stump. This stump was found at the abandoned building when I first moved in. We flattened the stump on my big CNC, and then did the Ten Hundred inlay by doing a layered inlay technique, using my handheld CNC (Shaper origin). As another reviewer mentioned, most projects require a lot of high-dollar equipment that most of us don’t have the room or budget for. But, knowing how to do these things, even if we won’t be able to practise the full stack project, is still great.

You need a finish room. My husband does wood working and he loves having a separate room for painting, polishing, waxing, all those steps that require dust free space.

That’s some serious pieces of tools and machinery you got there! 😍 I’m a woman just starting out with woodworking. It’s just brings good memories and pure joy when I would spent time with my Dad (RIP) and he’s so proud of protective of his tools. He lets me watch when he’s doing woodwork and he loved helping me with my projects for my wood working class. He loved going to home improvement and I always tag along. I just like to see my father’s face and his eyes twinkle looking at tools. I enjoyed it too because I learned a bit and maybe inherited his gift to be like a handyman too. He likes to fix things and so do I and if perplexing on how to fix something, It forced me to be resourceful and think outside the box to develop another way to fix it ASAP. You also know that you make mistakes and you learned from it by not doing it again. I also learned that you can become an imaginative person by finding ways to do something better and more efficient and you constantly have ideas on projects you want to do. The best thing is the satisfaction of completing your project. Pride in your work makes you strive learn and do things better. Whew! That’s a long one guys! 😂

He has a unique style of art and has been doing it for a while. Everything from painting skateboards to murals. His editing style is a lot of fun and he just got a new studio (shown in this vid) and I'm guessing Modustrial Maker and Ten Hundred decided to do projects to help set up the other's space He also makes all his own music for his videos!

he's a professional artist with a big social following. His work is diverse from his clothes line of apparel merch, to prints, n murals. He has collaborated with artists n companies around the world in different projects. Recently, he had launched a successful Kickstarter for his own customized card deck, which was crowd funded past its initial budget of about $10,000-30000 n went over a million dollars within a week. The companion is now complete n now made over $2,000,000. Safe to say, he's a pretty humble, skilled n big shot artist with an engaging KZfaq channel with a fun n awesome attitude. He's also a family guy with his wife Chelsea, their baby daughter, Juniper n dog, Georgie.

Don't know if you're finished with the kitchen, but I would Highly recommend getting electricity or the option of having a pop-up outlet for the kitchen island or some phone charger. Everyone house that I have worked on I made sure to have the option of having a outlet on the kitchen island. And after half a year to a year they all call me to install a phone charger or outlets for the kitchen utilities.

@@modustrial definitely on the island! I use mine all the time. AND. .I recently switched out the old standard GFCI with one that includes the normal 2 outlets, PLUS one USB A and one USB C plugin. Perfect!! 👍👌🤩

Really timely posting. Just found out the massive tree that's been behind my house before it was even built has to be cut down. I wanted to make something out of it, or a few things out of it. Definitely gave me some ideas.

Have you considered a rolling gantry with chain hoist? Do you know that saw dust is highly useful in converting kitchen waste to compost. The saw dust is mostly carbon. The kitchen waste is mostly nitrogen. To make good compost you need 3 carbon (sawdust) to 1 nitrogen (kitchen waste). I raid the sawdust collector of a local shop and take away their sawdust, under cover of darkness.
