Custom Roman Gladius

In this quick video we take a look at a custom Gladius we have crafted in our shop. This is a Mainz style blade and has an ash and walnut hilt.

they are not just great for a Roman military context they will also make a lot of sense in other contexts such as late medieval plate armoured trench warfare post apocalyptic etc.

Almost every group who descend from those 1st indo Europeans from Britain to Persia used some form of that same straight double edged sword. More than likely from the same lineage as the Schythian Accenaces. Probably also where all our cultires get our reverence for the sword from. Its definitely the origin of the worshipping of swords driven into a stone or hill.
