I bought this November 21 2023 from EddiesGuitars.com I registered it Dec 2 2023. I played this a couple of times unplugged. I have about 10 acoustic guitars and usually play unplugged at home. I usually play my favorite Taylor or Martin on the porch. This guitar doesn't have much volume unless it is plugged in so I use the loudest unplugged guitars I have. I decided that I would start using this T5Z to perform and the time has come to plug in and get familiar. I put a brand new battery in and plugged in but unfortunately it played amplified for about 30 seconds and the sound gets gritty, distorted, and then just fizzles out into no sound other than just the unplugged guitar. I tried 2 different amplifiers, several cables, and tested it several times. If you watch both of my video's you will see that during one video no sound comes out at all. I waited about 24 hours 3 different times and it won't make any sound at all unless I wait a significant period of time. I'm just speculating but it is as if the guitar collects a small charge from the battery while it is sitting for a day. Also, the cable is very tight to plug in which seems unusual ant the entire jack/hardware that the plug goes into is very wobbly and moves a lot. I am very disappointed and frustrated by this. This is a Custom Shop All Koa T5Z which cost me $3,300 new and I never expected this level of dysfunction from the a top of the line Custom Shop Taylor guitar. I would never expect this from any Taylor guitar. BUMMER
