How can someone not like this track having 3 laps, especially with such epic music playing?

Hey guys - creator of this track here. This video does indeed show the 3-lap version of this track, but the CTGP-R uses a 2-lap version which is much more tolerable. I believe there are some other CT distributions that use a 1-lap version, but it's pretty easy to change in the track file so the number of laps is all up to the distribution owners.

Rule of Thumb: If BigOto2 makes a custom track, it's going to be one of the best, period.

When I said "Try it on the CTT pack" I meant adding it in as custom content. It's not included yet officially but can still be substituted for another track for offline play only.

I remember playing online and someone had hacked the game. Our team was being barraged by unlimited blue shells that appeared every second. But instead of going oh no someone's hacking wah wah wah I put myself in the mind of the hacker. All of those players who were thinking what the nether is happening? The only downside was the continue/quit menu never came up. We restarted the wii and began playing again. Plus, no harm done to our beloved wii.

I can see that there's a reason why when this track was originally created in Mario Kart 7 it was done as three segments instead of three laps. Three laps would be like doing N64 Rainbow Road.

Rainbow Road from Mario Kart 7 in Mario Kart Wii?! Consider this a future track.

This looks more appealing than its 7 counterpart, especially since this actually uses 3 laps as opposed to 3 sections.

I heard somewhere that the homebrew channel works with the Wii Menu mode on the Wii U. If so, would this be possible running the game on my Wii U since my saved,etc. are all transferred into that system?

No but you can add custom tracks to it as long as you don't try to take it online with people who don't have it. I've already edited the STGI to make it 2 laps, but the CTT pack is currently the only pack that has the code to make it read the STGI and actually have 2 laps.

I hope this track makes a come back in Mario Kart 8

How do I install this on my game? I have a wii + external hard drive + WiiFlow channel + Mario Kart Wii .iso file in it (I'm also using WBFS manager 3.0 to store games into the hd.). Any suggestions? I'm a n00b when it comes to hacks. Thank you so much

Normally I prefer retro courses to have the same amount of laps that they had in their original versions but I think this is better with 2 laps instead of one ~Orangedude

It is indeed, because three ramps won't fit with MKWii's physics. Even two ramps is a bit excessive so I might modify them again to have lower tricks.

People are saying the music was removed due to copyright, but what did it even sound like? Was it a remix of the MK7 Rainbow Road theme or just the theme itself? Or is it just the MKWii Rainbow Road theme?
