Hey, please help bro after doing this, this all worked then I woke up in the morning and my whole wii u froze then I rebooted it, after that I tried loading my wii and all the homebrew apps uninstalled and I didn't have the homebrew launcher! How do I get it back?

Finally! A method that won’t brick anyone else’s system. My menu bricked when I tried using the old method. Thankfully, it’s easy to fix.

@@funkyscott47on my sister’s Wii U I used the outdated guide and she is permanently stuck with the pink and lime theme because whenever she tries to use any other theme it gives a infinite load loop

I noticed that i lost the original wii u theme backup i had. Yet my current custom theme (that i previously installed with theme manager) works without issues. Can i set this one as a backup with theme manager and apply ips patch to it even though it's not the original wii u theme ? Thanks a lot for your tutorials btw :)

So there's something I'm curious about that you didn't go over in your video. If I want to create more than one theme, obviously I do the same folder structure with content common package, but what about the IPS files? Especially with that little software for the computer

Hey scott, maybe a little off topic. But ive got tiramisu on my wii thanks to your vids (thank you scott!) But i wanna install all the other thing you show on your page. Ive used an 16 gb sd card. Is this enough for me to continue or should i use an 32gb for that? Im worried that i ill wont have enough storage on there for all the mods and plugins.

16 should do it to homebrew it. But it'll fill up quick. You won't have enough for an Nand dump. But you can upgrade the SD anytime so don't worry

I used the old method of installing themes and when I would apply my menu backup the bubble that you press to swap screens and some other ui elements stayed the other theme. Do you know how to fix?

@funkyscott47 hey scott, I followed everything and got the themes to work perfectly. However when I went to add more themes using a similar method, (Lunar IPS patched over the previous theme MEN file), my system is now showing a black screen when I load it with the SD drive. Any ideas for a fix? Are you able to save multiple themes and select which loadout to use?

@@cadez8386 I had to get a whole new microSD card and restart the process. Incorrectly altering the Themes will mess up your whole card so I wouldn’t try loading more than 1 theme.

@@thai_liftz wow, that’s annoying. At least your NAND was ok and you didn’t brick your console. Thanks for the info and warning. I downloaded a vaporwave theme and for some reason it was the Mario galaxy theme. The galaxy theme was cool don’t get me wrong but it wasn’t what I wanted. I followed the guide again but used a different theme (blue Nintendo theme) and it’s worked for me. Thank god. Hope your console is all good and that you’re still enjoying your hacked wii u :)

My WiiU Refuses to boot when i have the theme selected, I load the theme then it gets stuck on a black screen. Also i have one of the old themes installed on my wiiu so that might be causing problems?

Realized the dark theme I got from the themes site wasn't able to be patched, restarted it all, used a different theme that I actually could patch, still doesn't work, I don't see my theme when I turn my console on.

having a bizarre issue, i've downloaded the "Vaporwave Summer" theme twice, but every time I apply it, it's the Mario Galaxy theme 😭 I've double-triple checked the Google Drive in the gbatemp thread says the right theme, and it does! It has to be mixed up on the OP's side. EDIT: yea both folders give me the Mario Galaxy theme. It's a great theme but not the one I'm looking for lol, the (somewhat buried) resources linktree in your server works though! glad to see a secondary source.

Whatever the problem may have been for me, the plugin file wouldn`t grant me the function of appearing when rebooting the wii u at the last step. Speculation: I have more than one account. Even changed the region file twice from EU to US which didn`t change much. However resorted to the newley changed lunar ips files & moved them into the themes folder. After that booting up theme manager which was meant to be deleted but made it work through it instead. Consequences to this?

ok so I understand now The pinned comment is a thread with ALREADY PATCHES FILES, that's what he meant by "ready to go" Meaning I could resume and follow every step, I did, everything was perfect But no theme appeared. Even after enabling it in sdcafiine. What do I do?

Yes, if your Wii U has Aroma, it will work even with Tiramisu on it.

Nope, but you can loa fit on tiramisu using the SDcafiine app

if you installed the theme with theme manger before, you can use it to reinstall the backup. I did that before recording this video :)

Re look at your folder with your region title id I had the same problem I just missed a 0 at the beginning it might be missing a number or 2

Nope, you keep all your games/saves/data buy may have to update some homebrew apps to the aroma version

higher chance of a brick if you use tiramisu, that method is outdated and it's suggested to use aroma

Do yourself a favor and do the teriseu method first. I did it months ago, and eventually I found this channel and did aroma, and it's way better. Aroma made sure that I didn't have to go into an other menu to unlock the signatures patches. (Having the game was not enough, you needed to constantly run a program to gain access to the game. Aroma made sure to automatically do that, though I got lucky and saw that i needed to move a certain rpx. File to Aroma file on the SD card.
