Bought a couple of your Nintendo switch shells, buttons and all that fun stuff, enjoyed it so much I got my father a custom xbox controller for his birthday, and I got to say, doing this was so much easier than modding the joycons! Nice tuto! My wood controller is beauty now!

I got the wood themed shell for my controller. The screws that came with it didn’t fit but I used the ones that were already in the controller and they worked just fine if not a little tight. Very rad product honestly. A little bit expensive for $20 but who am I to judge I didn’t make it so I don’t know. I just know I have a super cool controller now and I’m grateful for that

Have this exact colour for my Xbox one controller. Now my new controller with next gen seems boring so I'm still using my old one. Glad to see you're already on top of it for the new ones! The only thing is as much as I really like this colour shift design (which I notice isn't an option to buy yet on Amazon Canada), it would be nice to still have the textured feel that the new controllers have. Would it still be possible to get a similar effect but with more of a matte finish so it isn't as slippery? Any plans to do something like that?

ive spent 30 minutes tryna get the side bits off and they wont come off

I switched my faceplate and the dpad became stuck in two directions, was still barely functional but it could move very little in two directions and no longer made those satisfying clicks. Hoping to resolve the issue without grinding away at anything because the shell color is just painted on and I would be grinding that off... anyone have any ideas?

The thing is you pull that sticker off, you void the warranty on it I believe?

Pretty hard to open side shells, very bad method but not your faults, it's Xbox's fault that made a bad project. Shells are very nice!

did this and now my controller wont work. amazing Edit: was my own fault. I fixed it.

My controller recently broke pretty nastily in the fact that the faceplate’s screw ports broke from within. And I had bought the army faceplate to replace it. I was shocked, and heavily disheartened, when I found out my controller was FUBAR’d with some remnants of plastic bits on my floor being evidence of how bad it was internally. I had to buy a new controller and the faceplate had me worried that I was gonna be in for a rough time. But when I got my hands on that thing? I was beyond surprised to feel its some and slip resistant material. And the internal piece were WAY BETTER than the stock material for the controller. Right away, my worries slipped and I knew I was doing a good thing by replacing the faceplate. In conclusion, not only is the product eye-catching, but its also an upgrade from the stock product. Best purchase, Imo.
