Hi Danny, thanks for revisiting Din Tai Fung. I agree that Shang Artisan is the better choice for Braised Beef Noodle Soup. The one on Flamingo is in a new expanded location much larger than the old cramped smaller place.

Danny, you should have asked the girls to join you. I am glad it was you that went there because now i know to avoid that place. The prices are too high and the portions are too small.

It’s rather small……the XLB is rather small. Oh my gosh I laughed out loud! Ok Danny - next time I’m in Vegas, I will invite you to DTF and order what I like and then we can go to XL Dumpling and test your theory. Hope you are up to the challenge! Would love to go soon but I am taking care of my mom who’s very sick sadly. Thanks for the video!

I eat Solo at Din Tai Fung with Casino Comps. I order Braised Beef Noodle Soup, Cucumber Salad, BabyBack Ribs and Creamtop Green Tea is my staple. I sometimes don't even order the soup dumplings. I see too many people order soup dumplings and then some veggie and they seem so bamboozled.

Ha! Of course it's always better when you put it inside. Priceless your reaction to the cucumber salad suggestion. Din Tai Fung is almost always a "go-to" when we are in Vegas. Soy sauce or salt is your umami for a lot of the foods you eat.

Mmm Cucumber salad! Mine that I like to make is with thinly sliced cucumbers and red onions, white wine vinegar, honey, salt and fresh ground pepper, and fresh dill and chives. So flavorful and refreshing! Yum!

Back at the Ding Tai Fung, lol the two female made you lose focus for second. Tap water, yes expand your menu options! No cucumber for video…lol. Soup dumplings not my 1st choice 🥟. S&S ribs, looked darker than usual, and yes old style presentation. Hmmm, with soya sauce better? Where’s the white rice 🍚. Beef noodle soup, looked great. 😀. shanghai rice cakes (savory mochi) and marinated pork belly cooked in stcky rice (similar to djong) are 2nd and 3rd choice for me when eating there

Gee all three dishes were a lot smaller in servings size but the $$ were significantly higher. I agree that Shang’s and Shao Long Bao in Chinatown are better and cheaper.

Danny I know you don’t like the veggies but the cucumber salad is actually really really good and worth trying. It’s cucumber and almost like a chili oil. But I agree that it’s not that great for how much it costs, that’s how I feel about benihana I’d rather go to Ohjah over benihanas

Xiao Long Bao is their specialty, but the crab & Kurobuta pork ones have to be the best, so I think you missed out. Crab guys. Crab. 🤣 A friend once said beef noodle soup is lucky, but I'm not a soup guy, so I ordered beef with rice at the Noodle Shop at Mandalay Bay. We went to play slots and he won like a boss and I lost my... Proof positive beef noodle soup is lucky. 🍀🤣

Las Vegas is like New Orleans minus the beads. DTM you should have invited the girls to the VIP Lounge for some drinks, and afterwards go to Downtown Grand for the $2 hot dog and PBR.

Beef? If you ever get to go to Hawaii, while in Hawaii never say, "you like beef?" Local Hawaiian jargon means you're looking for a fight. Next goal for DTM would be to get a car, would that make your vlogs, "meals on wheels?" Anyway, go for that car Danny and the world will be at your feet and not under your feet. No more excessive, "walking the walk." That car could be considered a business expense when filing taxes.

Danny the Medic: I have not yet discovered a Chinese Food Restaurant in Las Vegas that can be rated a 10, with 10 being an exceptional score. Whats up with that?? Would you be able to find such a restaurant that doesn’t overload their dishes with way too much vegetable fillers and still satisfy the palates of “old school” Chinese food customers?? Trusting that you can!…😊

I think Danny would've enjoyed the food more if the ditzy (intoxicated) girls went along with him. Never been a fan of DTF. Been to their original location in Arcadia and a few others. So pricey! Frozen XLB are better. What's up with these restaurants only giving 4 pieces of meat? Where's the beef?

Personally I would have been annoyed at that girl for assuming I'm Japanese. I know it was an innocent mistake and not racism on her end. But I got enough of that growing up where ppl assume I speak Mandarin when I don't and then they shamed me for not knowing my language. I'm Cantonese! Not Mandarin. Ugh. Anyway lol...
