These videos are meant to be educational and funny, so if you have any questions don't hesitate to ask!
0:00 Intro.
0:05 An important reminder to read the owner's manual or look online at how much oil your vehicle takes, then check the dipstick. The technician said the customer now needs an engine & catalytic converters.
0:21 Nissan (didn't mention model). The customer showed the mechanic how to start his car. He had a pretty good laugh and recorded this clip to show others.
0:32 The technician said he did a block test and verified the car needs a new head gasket. The coolant level was very low.
0:48 Customer didn't get engine mount repaired.
0:56 Must be one bumpy ride! The shop was pretty surprised to see this but said apparently it's somewhat common for people to do this.
1:07 A good reminder to go over with the salesman or person you're buying a car from to go over it's features and read the owner's manual.
1:14 No extra info.
1:30 Poor Jaguar. Couldn't imagine the smell inside this car.
1:39 A Jaguar with Dodge Hellcat emblems on it. Maybe the customer thought they were the same logo or from the same brand?
1:48 The customer's pickup truck and garage doors were a write-off...
2:00 The customer improperly wired this "performance chip" into the mass air flower sensor. These chips are a scam and not worth the money!
2:09 A good reason to have a vehicle inspected before purchasing it. But just from looking at the exterior anybody should be able to tell it has a ton of issues! The screen material might be woven fiberglass, but let us know what you think it is.
2:26 "Another shop". Whoever worked on it is going to cause the customer to have a more expensive bill as the shop has to put it back together and find out what they did.
2:36 Always be careful where you drill. Since the customer drilled through the trunk it caused a Large EVAP leak and the check engine light to turn on.
2:46 The mechanic was filming a clip and this bolt fell down into the engine but fortunately it could suck it out using a vacuum. Pretty funny as he was recording something when this happened.
2:53 A bear walked into this shop and caught all the technicians by surprise. It ended up running away and not causing any damage besides some scratches to the toolbox.
3:05 Outro. THanks for watching!

When I first got my license, my parents bought me a 66 Le Sabre, which was a rusted out piece of junk. There was a rash of car thefts going on, so I MacGyvered a series of wall light switches (installed in random up/down orientations) in the dash opening for the (missing) radio, and ran the ignition wire through them. You could only start the car with the key if you had the switches in the right pattern. My parents expressed their hatred of me when they tried to borrow my car and couldn't get it started.

Watching foam expand for the first time is mesmerizing, but it secretly causes a peculiar brain reaction. This reaction erases a mix of intelligence and creativity, making the viewer think spray-foam is the solution to every problem. Consequently, they become obsessed with buying more spray-foam. Even personal issues, like marital problems, are blamed on the lack of spray-foam. "Hmm, spray-foam... my wife hates me... solution: MORE SPRAY-FOAM!" It's a curious case of foam-induced brain damage.

Customer mistakes gas pedal for brake. Car accelerates unexpectedly. Customer steps harder on brake pedal. I'm honestly not seeing the problem here except for that initial mistake. When I want my car to stop, I step on the brake pedal. In fact, when I want to stop and the brake pedal doesn't seem to be working, I push the pedal harder. I know this because I once turned off my car in traffic to save fuel. After the third time stopping down the hill, my brakes failed. I've done a push-button switch to bypass a faulty ignition switch. It only took about an hour and It wasn't hard. And I didn't have two frayed leads hanging out in a way that might cause the starter to kick and go nuclear while driving.

That light switch starter, I did that on my 90 Chevy Celebrity wagon. Had 2 switches. 1 for power and 1 to run the starter. You had to flip off the starter switch once the engine was running. It's what I had in the trunk when my ignition switch locked up at tech school so we made it work. And work it did...for 2 more years until the engine quit. We did, eventually, replace the starter switch with a push button.

I was the one working on that car. It was SO bad, when the car was running the fuel came out like a squirt gun. The access cover was under the rear seat, so I didn't want to cover the interior of the car with gas. The interior was the one decent thing with this car.

When I was a teenager and had my first car I couldn't open the back doors from the inside. I took it the mechanic my parents went to and tried to make an appointment. The receptionist, the mechanics wife, asked if I put the child locks on. I had no idea child locks existed at the time. She walked out to the car opened the door and said look, these are child safety locks to prevent kids from opening the door whenever they want. I said oohhhh. And felt like an idiot, I was 16-17 so I already thought I knew everything there was to know about everything that existed. I was humbled by a 50 some year old receptionist.
