@@hybrid.roodragon1226Mine's done 175000 km in 6 years....oil change every 7500 kilometres.....no problem with the engine or anything else. I think it's routine maintenance that keeps ALL cars running. Neglect the servicing and pay the consequences.

Rodents are very destructive. Best solution is Honda Tape for all wiring. The broken glass...bf has some issues.

definitely know that one. Drive a Mazda P5 that had Continental Extreme Contacts and over time have blown out, what, 3 of the tires due to potholes. This is a stock tire size for the car. I still have one remaining on a back wheel. Two eventually developed separated treads, and one had a nail too close to the sidewall recently.

I've got a 2004 Dakota. I haven't seen a vehicle rust so badly since the mid 70s Fords and Mopars, when they were properly crowned Mostly Old Parts And Rust. Even when I put new parts on the vehicle, they also rust way faster than normal. It's almost supernatural.

I still daily drive mostly old parts and rust from the 70's. Insurance is about $20 a month and registration fees are $17 per year. I drive about 50 miles a day.

On newer cars, the worst ones for rust i have seen are dodge calibers, ford escapes(mid 2000s), and tj wranglers.

Ive been driving an NA Miata for so long, that im now in shock when i saw the amount of screens and displays in modern cars. Even the buttons light up in colors. Those relay clicks tho, that was harsh.

Right there with ya bub. Up until last year, I had gone through a '96, a '97, and an NB '00 over a couple decades. I just replaced the '00 with a '13 Subaru Legacy, and it's like, "OMG! The tech!" And it's 10 years behind already. 😅

@@cozzy124 I wouldnt think twice. I really hated myself for selling my first Miata. Yes the market is weird and people are selling hardtops for the same money i paid for my first Miata. The not so perfect ones, that do need work, but arent complete wrecks, are the sweetspot imo.

2:45 Looks like you have a bit a metal shavings in the transmission fluid. I’d recommend having it flushed. Your cabin air filter and wiper blades haven’t been changed in over 2 months??? You’ll definitely going to need those replaced ASAP!!!!!😂😂

0:59 When I had a cat, she used to bring mice into the house.... She then proceeded to let them go in said house. I remember catching a few by hand. Kept them in a nice tank for awhile till one night I forgot to put the lid back on after putting food and water in there for them. Next morning the mice were gone. Bond is a problem with the body control module which is also part of the TPMS unit in that pilot. They go bad all the time.

This is what ev manufacturers and maintaining a car like a tesla NEED to be careful of. A bad computer. A contactor shorting out and the car could SPONTANEOUSLY FIRE UP AND FIRE ITSELF THROUGH A WALL. Especially home made diy conversions have this risk for sparking to life and snapping to drive instantly flying forward in an instant.

its nice that auto wiring manafacturers care so much about starving mice that they coat ELECTRICAL wires with tastey rodent feed. reminds me of a groundhog that chewed thru a plastic fuel line on my friends car.when he went to start the car it sprayed gas EVERYWHERE under the car.was NOT an easy quick fix.i think he killed every groundhog he saw around his house to be sure it didnt do a repeat.

Baby mice sounds sweet, but i had problems with them at my wife's parents house where they nested inside a laundry machine and chewed through the cables ... So i had to remove them and fix the cables. They are not cute. I gave them to the chickens. (Nature knows its rules)

Have you watched any of these? I mean, I get it that most people aren't mechanics and don't know some of these things, but most of these videos are of people that are complete morons...I.E. never changing oil, using zip ties or glue to hold on brake calipers or suspension components, putting washer fluid into the oil fill, doing their own stupid wiring under the hood and wondering why nothing works, putting tape on warning lights, have crap rolling around in the trunk and wondering what the strange noise is etc etc....
