Not gonna lie, thats a tough job. Probably more difficult than waitressing because of the unlimited customization that must be endured by the person taking the order. I vote for electronic kiosk orders so the Baristas can just focus in crafting instead of interactions like that. Bless em

How come every time I order (which is all I ever order because all that other crap seems so complicated)1 large french vanilla cappuccino with 1 shot of espresso. That seems so simple to me, but why do I have to repeat it 3 times. It doesn't matter what Starbucks I frickin go to 😡

We had a woman who had a VERY complicated and specific order. She had it written down and handed us the paper every time she came in. I loved that woman and was more than happy to make that order for her.

@@LauraWeisse just suggested that perhaps Starbucks should have tech so customers call audio or write order into computer I in place of person but that will reduce number of employees needed

@@keithwisdom1663 reduce the number of employees? so starbucks now offers mobile ordering. you can order, pay and pick up the drink without standing in line. someone's still gotta make the drink tho. and most locations are still packed with drive through ordering while fully staffed. making it easier to order means more sales per minute. only an idiot company would look at that and shoot themselves in the foot by having LESS people working thus cancelling out the speed of service which reduces actual sales.
