I'm so disappointed you didn't put a scope on the energy sword for a blade with the range from Halo 2.

Removing the energy from the energy Sword and putting UNSC attachments on the carbine is both bold and utterly offensive to the sensibilities of most halo fans... I love it.

a note about the UNSC Carbine being "something we haven't seen in the games", you could put the Carbine Scope on multiple UNSC weapons in Halo 5, and also the Kinetic Bolts gave you Forerunner-looking shots. also, there's the Great Journey skin in the MCC which give UNSC weapons and vehicles a covenant paintjob.

I could totally see something like this in a special mode, and honestly I would be totally on board with it. As long as everything is kept vanilla in arena and the main modes I’m okay with a little experimentation, just like with Warzone in Halo 5.

I always thought it was strange that the covenant with their strict hierarchy would have the same weapons given to different ranks. Modified weapons like this would be good for differentiating (for example) an elite minor from an elite major, by giving the major a different plasma rifle.

Imagine dropping into a Halo BR, getting an Energy sword. While you're on your way, you find the Curved blade mod and boom! Back to the Stone age, baby!

Just remember that they are aliens who scavenge the technology of a long dead precursor race that spanned the entire galaxy and their technology miniaturization has far exceeded the capability of humans (except AI). Also, the covenant gear is adapted for their alien physiology. Furthermore, I think that the I’m feeling I get when you use the call of duty customization system but with a halo look makes my brain feel a word that I cannot even fathom. Also, since we don’t know a lot about the firing mechanisms of many of the covenant weapons, how does a vented barrel increase the muzzle velocity of a car buying? If anything, I think it would just have the same affect as any other barrel with holes in it.

I could see at least some of these being a thing on some far-off outskirts world where small militias, possibly composed of both humans and aliens get ahold of lots of different weapons, both human and not, and then just bubba the hell out of them creating cursed mishmashes of different weapon parts. Basically Khyber Pass, Halo Edition. To me it's actually a pretty cool concept.

That MW2019 customization menu looks so clean and honestly seems like it could fit into halo

this would really fit an ODST style spinoff game where you scrounge different attachments from whatever guns you can find and frankenstein them onto the weapons you can find ammo for. I can totally see a stranded ODST cobbling together that UNSC Carbine.

My favorite video from you by far

I like the carbine with human attachments. Since the elites and humans started sharing their weapons, itd make sense for humans to customize these completely alien designs to be more familiar. In the lore the covenant scopes tend to make humans nauseous as well.

Video suggestions: Reskin Covenant weapons to look like UNSC tech, and vice versa ...or... Design a few weapons with UNSC and Covenant design styles blended together.

7:51 1. We have seen some type of fusion in Halo 5 with the scopes and bayonettes 2. UNSC didn't use covenant weapons in fear they could have tracking devices (Cole Protocol)

That can sure work for a spin-off about younger Sangheili (Elite) tech-savvy warrior, who decided to poke a Hugarok aboard his ship to introduce some modularity to Covvie guns, or a game where you upgrade vendor is youngling not having same kind of view on classic designs, willing to experiment with human concept of "modularity"

I love this idea! I just hope the default versions of weapons are designed to be the best and the attachments are sidegrades with aditional tradeoffs to prevent weird uncomfortable metas

For the plasma rifle, I would have included an extended radiator for longer bursts, like an extended magazine on a normal assault rifle or submachine gun.

I think in one of the books some humans attached a heat gauge and different grips to a plasma rifle and the Covenant saw it as heresy

I think that a really fair stat you could have worked with was projectile velocity. Maybe a third “barrel” is added on the plasma rifle that forms a triangle which increases the plasma’s “bullet velocity” to allow for easier shooting, but is obviously bulkier and heavier. Just brain dumping there, great video as always!

the brute variants of the plasma rifle and needler would've made really good designs for use by the banished. the brute variant of the carbine would be interesting to see, i'm imagining that the entire length of its barrel would have a jagged bayonet mounted underneath it, and its default ammo would be changed to spiker rounds.

An energy sword pike would be interesting, you could greatly increase the range at the cost of speed and handling (also lessening or removing lunge but that's redundant because of the range)

The Blood of Suban indeed is a Carbine that fires Blamite crystals, I like your take on a Needler Carbine because whilst, the Blood of Suban is practically a reskin, yours shows the much more of a difference in function and the design overall looks fierce.

Pretty sure that porting the barrel, especially that much on the Carbine, would actually lower projectile velocity. The main thing that gives a projectile its velocity is the gas pressure behind the round, which propels it out of the barrel. If you put a lot of holes in the barrel, especially that far back, so close to the chamber, you're venting a lot of gas before it gets a chance to really push the projectile very far through the barrel. The less gas pressure behind the round, the less velocity said round will gain or maintain.

In a base halo game, I wouldn’t like this too much, but in a universe where call of duty and halo teamed up, and made a solid multiplayer only game, this would be amazing. So much creativity. Great work on the looks of the guns and the creativity you posses

Are you re-visiting promethean weapons soon? Would also love to see your take on UNSC weapons that are in the wider lore and haven’t been in the games. For example the MA3 or early MA5. You could use current examples as the base.

Plasma repeaters were a favourite weapon design of mine for the covenant weaponry like the proper equivalent to an assault rifle just that it’s damage and accuracy is just atrocious. Besides that side rant I loved the redesigns you done a great job👍❤️

Really liked these. Think you should do infinite weapons customisation stuff like this but ofc with infinite weapons we’ve seen so far.

I think a shotgun Needler build would be cool. It would allow you to shoot a bunch of needles at once. Allowing for a quicker super combine but slower firing rate.

The carbine builds were pretty cool and silly at the same time.

I really thought there would something like a repeater attachment for the needler that turns it into an lmg (very slow lots of super combines and massive needles), ngl I really like the ancient blade I think it shouldve been the worst stats but the highest thrust lol.
