Nah my mom would never do this!! Either we eat what she makes and how she makes it, or we don't eat that night and we go to bed right after

I've been known to stir-fry every veggie separately, and then stick them all on the table in separate bowls, and let everyone serve themselves. This does sometimes result in the 6-year-old trying to eat nothing but tofu, but then I don't have to guess at the portion sizes in advance.
