Customizing rEFInd

In this video, I am going to install and configure the rEFInd bootloader with a theme and icons.

I used refind for a while years ago when I was triple booting a macbook. I found it hard to use, but I lacked experience then lol. Thank you for you for another great video!

I watched a earlier video from Ermano on rEFInd and installed it. The best feature of this one is auto-searching for bootloaders in esp of all your block devices. Dual-booting Windows does not require any setup. It searches and put it there for you to select

when we log in using the black screen, like you did, can we choose a desktop environment, when we have more than one? something like user/xfce, or user --kde, I guess

Nothing, the Windows efi partition will be automatically detected with the appropriate icon.

Just got this going, not done yet though. I like having a themed boot manager. Originally it was so i could get into freebsd without having to f12 at bios splash since i couldnt use easybcd for adding freebsd to windows boot menu. Also because originally i wanted legacy boot menu, but it would randomly do metro for no reason and then legacy at other times. With refind, i should hope now to simply access win7 and an older ver of win10 (1909) straight from refind.. just havent added them yet. Looking for a howto. Otherwise atm i can get right into freebsd and legacy win boot menu every time with no metro annoyance.

Hey do you have any idea what's wrong with my audio I recently upgrade my motherboard and CPU and now my audio won't work. It use to work perfectly out of the box but now I can see the bar going up and down but I can't hear anything through my headphones pls help if you can

Hello I install the refind with Pop-OS, and because of this i was not able to see in what part of refind.conf i have to edit, i think it's cause this i'm seeing tree options to boot on Linux and one to Windows, can you help me? Im not able to figure it out by my self. Sorry me for my english, i never talk to someone in english before
