Customizing Your Print Platforms

Күн бұрынIn this video, I show how to customize the print platform to your needs. Many of these changes can be done directly in the printing software. Some of the advanced options are done with in meshmixer. Either way, very quick and easy adjustments.

Baron, do you have a video that shows this same technique in the pre form software? I am having trouble orienting the models to the platform in it.

I do not. Perhaps you can describe the issue or what isn't working for you.

Baron, so as long as the models are in contact with the platforms, with either the MoonRay or the FormLabs, those platforms should provide enough support for the models without adding additional supports, is that correct? And this can be done directly in PreForm, does not have to be done in MeshMixer?

Correct. That's how we do it routinely. For Formlabs, you need then at least 2.5mm thick.
