My 21st birthday was spent living in a tent with my 2 dogs and my husband because I was homeless…we just wanted a nice meal. This bloke needs to realise how easy he has it…not everyone gets the luxury of even just having a nice meal on their birthday let alone going for a trip.

@@isabellavalencia8026 I work 2 full time jobs and a casual job plusstudy part time, my husband also works a full time job as a shearer and casual at the local pub, the housing crisis in Australia is shocking. We don’t get any government benefits and we had to use all our savings on a surgery that I desperately needed. Your comment is rude, judgemental and jumps to conclusions. We weren’t able to find a house after our lease ended which is how we ended up homeless, 3 weeks before that I had my surgery which was scheduled a year earlier and rescheduling would have delayed it by another year, if you have any idea what debilitating, constant, chronic pain feels like then you’ll understand why we didn’t reschedule (5 incurable chronic pain conditions that even fentanyl wouldn’t help with). So yeah, I didn’t get to celebrate because I had to get surgery to manage one of my conditions and we couldn’t get a home because not many people want to accept a young married couple with 2 dogs over a family with no pets or even just an older couple with no pets. Next time, stop and think before you leave comments like yours because the way yours is written reads as if you think we’re government funded grubs who don’t want to work of anything in life and just expect handouts.

We can’t afford the $800+ a week homes unfortunately which is all that’s really available in my area at the moment but thank you for your kind and non judgmental comment

I have always found customs officers to be very fair. I used to go abroad once a month for work and come back with a boot full of alcohol much more than the allowance. I would drive into the something to declare and explain how much I got and ask for the best way to pay. The officers were always very fair with me and sometimes even bent the rule a little bit in my favour. It always paid me to be open and upfront.

At minute 23:15, a sharpened crochet needle would be very effective in piercing the suspected container. Put a big handle on a metal crochet needle, sharpen the end and one would have a very good piercing implement; push to pierce, withdraw the implement and test the residual powder.

Dissolve drugs in water, then soak clothing, yarn, etc, in the liquid, and when everything has dried you can carry it through customs.

This was a huge oversight by the British customs, that watch is worth around USD100k And they didn’t even question it

These guys are doing such great work, what a shame that our open coastline with floods of undesirables undermines their efforts completely. We know that some of these dingy divers arrive with contraband that includes weapons. Why bother with airport customs while the borders are open.
