Hi, I watched your video when you posted it, loved the books, hubby came into the kitchen and I said, omgoodness look at these books, they are amazing. So tonight he came home from work and gave me the autumn and Halloween one as a surprise. Oh my word, that Halloween one is fantastic... The back side is just as awesome, I think they need to be in a separate book. I prefer a more neutral background to the images as I would seriously have trouble cutting them out. The autumn one from poor toast is already in my wish list 😁😁💗

The Halloween one is so wonderful. I might consider buying it!! It brought such joy to my heart! I laughed when you said that you could frame some of the papers for halloween time... All the art on my walls is Halloween themed and I have it up year round haha.

Do NOT buy two books (for using the back of pages). Use your printer and make a copy. Some authors even suggest it. 😺👵😻

I don’t feel comfortable telling people to do that on my platform. It could be copyright infringement. ❤️ Most of the authors I share are self published, I choose to support them & their work❤️

@@craftycaseystudioyes plus in my expirence I prefer the paper quality and ink quality in the books better then the printer stuffs and I agree ink is expensive

I love Poor Toast's books. I got one as a birthday present for myself and I love it so much. Its the one with the giraffe on the front. The Halloween book would be perfect for a particular spooky vampire project I'm working on. Edit: I love Kate's art style! It reminds me of something, but I can't figure what it is. Its so cute.

OH WOWWWwW!!!!!!!!!!!! I want the Hallowe’en one!!!!!!! 💀👍🏻I’d want 2 copies, because the backing papers are too great to cut up. The other two books are good too, but the Hallowe’en one is awesome!

I have chosen pictures that are not too complicated to cut. Also, Nicole has said she sometimes leaves a tiny border on the hard ones.

Soooooo lovely, the critters in the last 2 books (Halloween is not really a big thing here in Belgium as it is in America) The big backgroundpages in the last book would also be adorable on the wall in a frame 😍 thank you for sharing

My favorite is the 2nd one. I have been looking at Kate's books for about a yr. She certainly has added quite a few in a year! I like that they collaborated together! Smart! You can tell an acorn because it has a "little hat". Chestnuts are much bigger w/ nothing on them.😉

I love listening to you look through these pages! LOL It's just what I was thinking as I watched. I would just hate cutting into those back pages, tho! She needs to do 2 books. One with the full pages and one with the ephemera cut outs. Thanks for showing these.

Oh thank goodness, I already have two. I love the fall one. Mine is already almost cut out. I have the Halloween too. I cut down along the spine and carefully tear out the pages and scan the backpages. They print a little lighter than the real page but they're still nice. I would love to know how you cut out the Halloween table with all the hangy down stuff! The paper is a little slippery so the Tim Holtz fussy scissors work amazing. Now I don't really like books by other companies. The Poor Toast books are amazing. I just got Kate Curry's wine (boozy) book. It's stunning.

Thanks for the flipthroughs, I received all 3 cut and collage halloween books from Kate Curry, they are cute and creepy, but what I'm missing in those books are bats, there's almost none to be found. And i love the backing papers, Poortoast has 9 books of backingpapers, I hope the ones in these cut and collage books are in those also or KateCurry(poortoas) will bring books out with those sheets too.

Love all of them but what I was totally taken back by were the back side of the cut out pages in the Autumn book. Those women were beautiful! I would never be able cut anything with those ladies on the back.

Question: Was the paper quality the same with all three books? I got the Autumn Ephemera and a Calico Collage Cozy Autumn book the other day. Calico was well printed and on nice paper; the Autumn Ephemera was on like paperback paper, and off kilter on the printing, plus had a 1/4’ streak down every so few pages on the back side. I’m sending back for another on to be sent to me, hoping new one is better. Just wanting your opinion. Thanks!!

I so love these books I wouldn't be able to choose only one of them they all have things I like. I would love to have them in my arsenal but sadly I have to choose what can afford and right now I need glue.

Nicole, girl, you could sell ice to an Eskimo, i kid you not! I'm ready to buy all three! I didn't think I would like the Halloween one because I was worried about what "spooky" meant to these artists. But I was so wrong. While I wouldn't use some of the more Goth images, I'm all over the majority of the others. And you sold it, baby, you did! I'm pretty sure I have the Autumn one already in my cart from looking the other night. I'm so glad to have gotten to see it. That's one thing i wish the authors would do is to give you a sneak peak at a few of the pages so you know what you are getting. But honestly, with these two authors, I don't see how one could be disappointed in any of their books. I love Kate's book exactly because of those full color scenes. Such a clever idea. I was imagining how I'd fill each one as you turned the pages, creating a mini story in my mind. Then, when I saw the characters, I was even more excited. It's almost like using Colorforms but with paper and glue! All three books have my vote and I can't wait to order them. Thanks for a great review. And thank you to Poortoast and Kate Curry for their awesome talent and congratulations to both for how easy it was to part me from my wallet!😂❤
