The A-Jet is a software-controlled multi-axis cutting head that greatly expands the versatility of your OMAX JetMachining® Center. The A-Jet’s 0° to 60° cutting range allows users to easily cut beveled edges, angled sides, and countersinks.
The Terrain Follower attaches directly to the A-Jet cutting head and allows a JetMachining Center to handle materials with irregular or warped surfaces without the need for special programming. The Terrain Follower detects changes in a material's height and automatically adjusts the nozzle height. This maintains the necessary nozzle standoff, avoiding collision with warped surfaces and protecting the nozzle from damage.
