You've all been asking for us to do this test for a while and here it is. Please note that the purpose of this video is NOT to put anyone else down. It's simply to show a side by side comparison of two products in the same domain... cut resistant gloves for police officers and tactical / military use.
Also note, this is NOT the testing procedure which these gloves would undergo to achieve their LEVEL 5 cut rating.
Comment below on what else you'd like to see in a video like this. We will do our best to get that to you.

Very nicely done demo and comparison. Your gloves are definitely more protective due to the full coverage, but at the cost of extra bulk, heat, and dollars. Both excellent gloves for what they are.

Sponsored obviously = little bias. Clearly Mechanics ware little harder to actually cut through and let's be honest - they did dull a plade a little, but i admit lack of protection on top and lackluster wrist is bad. Either way would go for other producers.

Might be informative to update this comparison to the D4-360 model of the Mechanix Mpact. The normal mode comes in loud colors but it also comes in brown now.

I think u should hold the both glove firmly, to have a more direct visual compare , the second glove are give moving when u cut

I've got some experience handling those knives, sharpening and honing them. Dulling the knife on one kevlar glove before testing it on the next is honestly not fair. Two individual knives for this test would have given a more accurate result. That being said, both look neat. I don't need them though... I'm the guy holding the knife 😅

Is this an ad for how much better the mechanix gloves are? The only reason it took longer to cut through yours is because you took longer. Count the strokes its 2.5 times as many cuts pressed significantly harder without the glove moving for the mechanix. Also no selection of the thickest most protected part of the glove. Armortek is way better of a tech than whatever crap you designed for high dexterity.
