Personally I prefer the original since while yes the remastered one does have updated graphics and more polish I think that OmNom looks better as a 2D character rather then 3D and some of these extra effects feel a bit unnecessary

They don't seem to know how to make 3D models at all. It hurts me to look at this Lick. Roto in Merge is nowhere more disgusting. It’s a pity that they won’t return to their roots and there won’t be new levels in the second part, but I really wanted to see new Nommies, in Merge they are somehow- soulless

Whenever I look at Lick's 3D model I'm all like, *LickhasababyfaceLickhasababyfaceLickhasababyfaceLickhasababyfaceLickhasababyfaceLickhasababyfaceLickhasababyfaceLickhasababyfaceLickhasababyfaceLickhasababyfaceLickhasababyfaceLickhasababyface* WHAT HAVE THEY DONE TO YOU MY CHILD?! And the fact that my girl(?) Toss isn't here, like WAT Also, Blue didn't really change much, his exterior is as bland as ever, but I do love that little smile (yes I said EXterior, Blue is nowhere NEAR bland on the inside, _especially_ with his sudden emotional outbursts) So, while it sucks that not all the Nommies are here, I believe it's a relief those that DIDN'T make it didn't suffer the fate our poor boys Lick and Blue suffered.
