Ok but if you're gonna get bangs please don't do them yourself there's a high chance you'll mess it up. Get a professional hair stylist to do them for you. And honestly I really wanted bangs until I got them. Now I think hair looks better without bangs.

I really love bangs but whenever I got them at a Hairdresser they would always cut them bluntly, no matter how much I explained I wanted them to be thin. I grew out my bangs, been cutting my hair at home for a long time and now I just swoop my hair back and only take care of the ends, but I might try to do bangs by myself. Great explanation!

For me, it's more about the cost. Why spend money to cut your bangs when you can just trim them yourself? It's such a simple task, imo it's not worth it to spend money.

I hate the salon. They NEVER give me what I want. Even my worst DIY bang haircuts weren't as bad as the ones I recieved at the salon, so I don't miss it AT ALL.

I haven’t had bangs since I was 11 years old. They look awful with my naturally curly hair, especially in my local Texas heat and humidity. That didn’t stop me from enjoying this explanation. I may need it in the future for my daughter! You look lovely as always, by the way.

Same here! Except I just cut my bangs yesterday... I have thin and wavy hair, and with the humidity here in Indonesia where I live, it becomes curly. I love bangs, but I didn't realize my hair was going to behave differently compared to when I lived in Europe. 😅 so yesterday I cut it, and today I'm already going crazy. Even after using straightening iron, it becomes curly again. 🤣

I was feeling really discouraged bc I just got my bangs trimmed at the hairdresser and she made them way too thick. It doesn’t suit my face shape at all and I’ve been struggling. This video was super helpful, just pinning the top layer back already gives me the look I was going for!!

I got my Hair cut before the quarantine. Told the hairdresser I didn’t want them too think with too much hair in it because I had that last time and didn’t like it. So naturally he cut a chunk from like over the middle of my head... lol at least no one can see me now while I grow it out 😅

I was already growing out my quarantine bangs in the hopes of being able to put them behind my ears, so they were grown out as much as yours are in the video, and this technique worked P E R F E C T L Y!! Thank you! I have been trying to fix my bangs by just growing left-right extremities and cut in the middle, but that made my face look like an egg 😀 so I always ended up cutting it all again. I see now that I wasn’t keeping the triangle in mind! Thanks very much!!!

I did the same. I always cut my bangs myself since I was 12 back in 1999, yes a lot mg time. But at times I have fuller bangs or thinner bangs. Now I want to thin my bangs. It is the same length but I will let them grow out. My hair grows fast due to hair vitamins, msm powder and vitamin c power, and collagen powder. I love bangs but I want them thinner now. I have black cruly/wavy ethnic hair. I do blow dry and flat iron my bangs bit the rest of my hair is natural. These tips are good. Love your videos 🌹 I was wondering if that other company using your image and bangs even contacted you or even apologize to use for basically stealing your idea? Hopefully things worked out hon.

I'm here bcz I'm growing out my bangs but I would like to mention that i did a subtle side buzz cut last week and I just love it. I love it. ❤ It's a good style to try in the lockdown. And it is something new that most girls have not tried bcz of course long hair look so gorgeous. But I always wanted to try buzz cuts so if you too have been wondering if you could try a buzz cut. Go for it actually. It's the right time! 😊 Start with a subtle buzz cut and then you can go further if you want more.

The second I was allowed to grow out my bangs/fringe at age 8 I did and would never ever go back, but man I find your hair cutting videos fascinating! I hate the idea of having bangs so much I caught myself brushing my non-existent fringe up off my forehead while watching! So pretty on our lovely Loepsie though :)

@@nevaehdixon9147 it just looked like longer pieces on the sides of your bangs :D I was scared too, but I just gave it a go and it’s definitely worth it. Now they’re long enough to be in a ponytail! Or sometimes I curl them so they frame my face :)

I have a rather strong widow's peak and my bangs always end up looking too thick in the center or the bangs just stick in with my longer hair. Has anyone sorted this out? I know some people shave their widow's peak, but then you still get the funny stubble interfering with your hair style.

ive been cutting my bangs for a year now and i think they look pretty dang good for me not being a professional (ive had bangs most of my life. for some reason they grow Very quickly and i dont have money to go to the salon all the time so i taught myself how to trim them) but i think wispy bangs r really cute so im curious if i can make mine thinner!

Very helpful! Thank you so much! At some point (You probably don't want to do this now.) can you do a tutorial about how to trim the rest of your hair? But, specifically into the V shape? If you don't wear your hair like that, I understand if you don't though. It's just so hard to find that on KZfaq! It must not be popular. I just think it looks so much more fuller and flattering from the back if it's in a V shape. I usually always trim my own bangs. (Thanks to your original trim bangs video.) But when it comes to the rest of my hair, I still go to a salon because I don't think I understand well enough to trust myself to do it on my own.

I did this method in 2004/2005 when I couldn't stand losing all of my bangs by growing them all out. Good tutorial ❤️🙂 I eventually did grow them all out though. It was awful! 😆They are now to ankles lol.

I have thick bangs and glasses, and I've felt for so long that my face is covered up. I want to make them just lay down on my forehead and look like straight across bang, instead of puff out weirdly at the side and are far too thick. My mom cut them and somehow she still can't figure out how to trim them, she cuts off a bunch and I look ridiculous for the next week or so. I'm gonna have to ask her to try this, since we can't afford going to a salon, and she insists that she's able to do it. Wish me luck, hopefully I won't regret this.

I didn't even cut them on my own. I showed my hairdresser some see through bangs pictures, and now i LITERALLY have bangs like cho chang from Harry Potter. She cut them wayyy to thick and short. Who whole point of see through bangs is that they are very thin and trasparent, but now they're soo thick and cover my whole forehead and if i pull up the top layer, the under layer is too short and ugly. How does a professional fuck up so bad? I did better that this when I was 13 and cut my own bangs! I was so excited abot getting bangs and now it's all ruined...

My hairdresser does this thing where to picks up my bangs and makes small cuts into it (little snips) all the way up and the bangs sit better. But since lock down here in the U.K. I can’t do it myself.

I need to do this. But my hair/bangs are curly. Do you think it would still work? The longer pieces wouldn’t just nicely lay flat along the sides. 😆 Also, I’ve always cut them straight...but I like the triangle shape. Wonder if that would also work with my hair.

Hi I've seen you wear glasses and I was wondering if you ever have the problem I have and how to fix it? I have to wear glasses all the time except for close up reading and sometimes the side of my fringe rests on the side of my glasses frame and curls out/up because of this. I hate how it looks when it does this do you have any tips to stop it? I'm wondering if it's the shape and thick ish frame of my glasses, perhaps thin frame would be better. Idk

I made a really bad mistake and I hate my bangs. I had made them too thick so I started cutting the bottom to make it look wispier which was a bad mistake. Now they’re all different lengths. Worst of all, I cut a piece of hair at the top of the triangle. Which I forgot was gonna grow back... so now I have small pieces in the back of my bangs sticking up. I hate it, and there’s no way to fix it🙁

Alejandra i don’t know how short you cut them but i would recommend cuttting your bangs even. It can be that your bangs wil be over your eyebrow..

Marie X they’re not very short and they are over my eyebrow. I had made my bangs a lil thick and was tryna make them wispy so I started cutting them. And one side is now shorter than the other one
