My heel keeps slipping all the time, even with elastic around the ankles, especially going through demi point. I did not notice, ill try this out! Lets hope my teacher doesn't scream at me xx

The elastic that wraps around the ankle from the back would be tighter if this is happening 😊

Also if you push your demi-point with new point shoes they will flick off the heel because they are softened by the dancer and not the manufacturers 😂

Could you attach one of those silicone heel protectors instead? It would likely put less strain on the tights than a cut. Or maybe try nail polish since it stops runs in stockings but dries pretty rough.

I've never been a dancer, but would you not get blisters on the back of your foot more easily like that?

YES !!!! But if the shoes is already slipping off the heels, it means there is less frictions in this area. Therefore blisters could appear, but may be not as fast, or as many as if that wasn't the case. Anyway, I trust Josephine. She knows what she's doing. 😏

Maybe you could pull the hole in transition tights over your heel? Might last longer than j cutting tights
