@@lolawrenn8926 I guess I get that? But I think for some people, sex of any kind requires engagement to be enjoyed, and I can’t fault him for that. I’d think of comedians as a comparison. They’re also just acting, but if they work with each other in writing or something along the lines, they would probably prefer their partner to be involved / enthusiastic in the process; the nature of the business requires cooperation, so it might as well be well lighthearted. The actors here might not be intimate with their scene partners the same way they’re intimate with their significant others (I guess comparing a joke you wrote for TV to an inside joke or a shared moment you have with family), but on a base level, sex is probably another way of connecting with others to that guy. Besides, unlike when you interact for five minutes max with an unhappy minimum wage receptionist, anyone would feel shitty if they thought they might’ve played some part in another person’s dubious sexual life / any possible resulting trauma. It’s a complicated act with complicated ramifications. Might as well be careful and considerate.

Meh, maybe. I feel like the fake cutesy butterfly and rainbow type shit from one of the couples isn't genuine. Her face when he was talking about leaving the industry looked like she didn't believe him. The couple in white don't give me long term vibes. I think the tattoo chick and her guy are fully honest with each other and that's the foundation for long lasting.

I think it takes a lot to have this kind of trust and openness especially with the right person to be able to have a relationship with people that have this lifestyle & job. The guy in the floral shirt didn’t seem so genuine when answering the question about leaving the industry for her. It’s not hard to read simple body language, facial expressions and tone if you actually listen and I think we’re on the same page w/ that.

@@watzimagiga what was it he said, if there was a transition period and he was fully on board with it then he would leave for her? So he isn't on board with it, but if he was then sure. It was such a non answer, all vague and if you weren't really listening you could hear what you wanted to hear, which she definitely did. He's obviously used to speaking to her like that, placating her with hypotheticals, and she just allowed it to happen. It makes me wonder why they got married. The younger couple felt like they were only together because they were both in the industry, as if that made it easier somehow. The way she talked about their sex life being a chore was a big red flag for me, and how "business" she was about the things she does with him. He also came across like he would be super possessive and give her an ultimatum if she did something he didn't like. But then I also got a bit uncomfortable when the guy was telling his girlfriend that he gives her things in their relationship nobody else would. That for me is a really thin line and not something I think should be vocalised, at least not in a comparing yourself to everyone else because you're so amazing and nobody else will ever love you as much as I do kind of way.

It was nice to hear some of them say that what they have with their partners are the “intimate” moments that they don’t share with their “co star” because that’s one thing you’ll think is that what if they find someone that they shared a connection with and want to explore it more.

I respect these couples opening up their relationship online. Never thought I'd see a healthy relationship in this industry. I do however notice the sense of relief once the other partner says they would quit the industry. That in itself shows everything they actually feel deep inside. Otherwise glad to see them thrive.
