Disgusting, sticking needles through a small child’s flesh. Did she ask for it to be done. She should be allowed to choose for herself when she is old enough to understand. This practice is tantamount to child abuse and should be made illegal.

In many countries it is common and is done in girls. The godparents or grandparents are the ones who give the pairs of earrings. They made the holes for me when I was a newborn. To say it is comparable to child @buse is a bit much.

@@denebola83 just because it’s common in many countries shouldn’t mean it’s acceptable. Sticking needles into babies’ flesh for the mothers vanity is child abuse, how would you describe it? Small children do not need jewellery adornment.

I got my first done as a baby and I wish I had my others done as a kid cause I hate pain. I don’t remember the pain of my first piercing.

And here comes another person complaining about a person's rights or whatsoever...... atleast get ur facts straight girl.... piercing is done in childhood cause the muscles and tissue there are soft causing minimal pain....it heals quickly too.....when they are much older the tissue gets hard causing lots of pain and it takes time to heal too....I have seen many cases of adult piercing and in most cases the after effects are just unbearable....

@@lakhirani5780 who’s rights are you talking about? The parents rights to stick needles through their child’s flesh , or the rights of the children, who obviously have none in this situation. It’s child abuse and what else could you call it.
