and just in time when all around us seems to be falling to bits Oliver comes along to save the day with his simple take on life breakfast lunch and dinner a nap or 2 treats when he needs them and lots of hugs and snuggles

It’s great how dogs establish activities they come to not only expect, but eagerly anticipate. My half beagle, half pittie started a routine with me that has gone on for over 5 years. I’m hot natured so I wear long gym shorts when lounging in the evening. I was standing by a table in the kitchen/dining area that contained his snacks. He took his nose and hooked it under my gym shorts leg and pulled upward to get my attention and then tried to get at his snacks. I got the picture. I started getting his snacks and he ran to his bed and waited eagerly. When I got there he started trying to shake hands as fast as he could as I always asked him to do this before giving him a snack. He still gets as excited today as he did over 5 years ago. Dogs are such loving creatures who love us unconditionally and I can’t believe we were able to adopt this wonderful dog. 3 previous families had brought him back to the shelter but we kept him. Their loss, our gain. Oliver is a trip, as always. Thanks for all the great videos.

I talked with his owner and asked about it. He used to be like Oliver, but he was 13 and had turned light grey. But he was busy and healthy.
