Philippines itself was extremely rich. 1900 Philippines ranked 23rd richest country, 1930 Philippines was almost as rich as Spain. Even after the war against imperial Japan Philippines ranked second richest in asia. My grandparents told me nice the country was back then. I was born in the wrong area😂😔
