Pugs are great little mates. My one once tried to swallow a whole hamburger bun. I found him lying flat out, with a blue tongue. My son managed to hook out the bun from his throat, and I did mouth to nose resuscitation to revive him. He came around, but was never quite the same, unusually after that. He lived somewhat happily for another 5 years, but seemed to have a grudge that I had claimed him back from the ' big kennel in-the-sky' . I love pugs, they have huge personalities.

@@bigbigrat all brachychephalic dogs are. The way I explained it to my 9yo recently is that all dogs have the same number and relative size of teeth, be they German Shepards or pugs. Google what the skull of a pug looks like and it's hard for me to justify the continued breeding of these animals. I'm not just talking out my ass....my family bred English bulldogs when I was growing up (and other breeds) and the help they need just to have pups is staggering. Hell, the help they need to *breathe* is staggering.

I know my sister's husky is going to lose his "meatballs" if he bangs her pit bull again. My sister saved the husky from a puppy mill where he was used to breed. She got the pit bull as a little puppy.

As a former pug owner, I can attest to the drying off part. My pug would make this banshee-like wail and scramble from one side of the couch to the other, trying to get some microscopic spot that wasn’t dry yet.

I raised pugs almost 30 years ago...They would FIGHT over who got to take a bath first... All of them loved their baths and water.

my sister's pug was anxious with her in the pool and going under, so he built up courage and made a huge dive in. He landed on my sister's head and sank. SOOO, he had to be saved. That nose and swimming don't mix, and they are heavy and sink like a rock. Lucky for both, they lived.

Honestly seeing any dog on here is a delight. I've sadly got a phobia of dogs and so avoid them whenever I see them out in public, but seeing all these good boys and girls fills me with the serotonin I need and gives me hope that I'll overcome this phobia. Thank you so much for this channel.

I was just like that, pretty much until my last high school year. Then my aunt was given this dalmatian puppy that was literally too fast to avoid... 😅😍 It was a sink or swim situation, and eventually I managed to swim. I have a Dogue de Bordeaux mix now ❤

@@elitefourfay4712 their existence is pain and suffering. Because of their history of breeding to reach their iconic look it came with so many health conditions. Their wrinkles make it hard for them to breathe, their skin is incredibly sensitive, their ears are always infected, their eyes are messed up, their necks are screwed, everything about them is torment given by their breeders.

Nah that’s just typical of pugs and members of the mastiff family (which I consider pugs to be part of honorarily). I should know, two of my bullmastiffs acted like little humans and the first one in my family would actually move her mouth as if attempting to talk. I miss having a bullmastiff.

as someone who has 2 of these poor snout-less munchkins, this video isn't even close to their peak character potential they are able to dish out, sadly now that they are over 10 years old their health issues and walking difficulties have shown up, it's really sad and not cute anymore and that's why I go around not recommending getting pugs unless it's a rescue, still love them but 💔

I would absolutely love to see a lab getting groomed. They are such a loveable breed, and you can't help but fall in love with their personality. They are my family's favorite breed, so I've been in love with them since childhood. 💖💖

I had a pug growing up, and meatball looks like identical. even the same goofy facial expressions. my pug passed a couple years back due to illness but this video reminded me of a lot of great memories of him.

Oh, Meatball….you have taken my heart! ❤️ You look and act like my sweet Rocky, who passed away 2 years ago at, the age of 12. His most favorite thing (besides climbing up into my lap for a nap) was to ride with me to town. He would put his feet up on the console, with tail wagging, and would have the biggest smile on his face - with the tongue hanging out, of course. Much love!

He is a viciously malformed ill-bred little hell dog. That can neither see well, breathe well, walk well or live without pain, also coming from the pressure on his brain for a single second of his life. We'd be better of to give this "race" the "Gnadenschuss" and kill them all for their own sake.

I just recently adopted a husky from a shelter and these videos have greatly helped me get a better understanding of his coat, more visually. It’s also fun to see these dogs get groomed in general 😂

Most of the pugs that i know are very calm and sleepy but meatball is very energic and playful! If I would have a dog, I’d want to have golden retriever, husky or german shephard but i love all kinds of dogs. So it actually doesnt matter, every video is you is enjoyable

I honestly don't care what dig is being groomed, I just love your commentary! But I especially like it when they get distinct cuts, like the teddy bear. It's so cute!

Pugs are my favorite dog breed hands down. There are several dog breeds I particularly like, but pugs will always be my number 1.

If there are any soft-coated wheaten terriers, would love to see them! I use to have two growing up but have sadly passed away! Super family friendly and hypoallergenic! 🙏🏻🥰

I would love to see a tenterfield terrier but I also might just cry because we had one for 17 years until he passed 2 years ago... RIP braveheart

I would love to see a King Charles spaniel! My mum got one when she was 20. There’s one home movie where I’m about 4 sitting on the floor with the dog and my mums on the chair feeding us both spaghetti. Glad I got to see him before he died ❤️
