I remember when I was 16 I found a car I wanted so bad. I checked on it everyday while I was saving money from working. I drove by one day and it was gone I was so sad. My dad told me he had a surprise for me out back and there was the car. I about died. This little movie about made me cry. Plus. I love Kristen and Dakota so it that was a big plus to!

But with mom she would say "Ok, this is what you should say..." and teach me or whatever. This is just a great short movie! I love it...

I just love this. I keep coming back to it because it captures a period and feeling in time. It also illustrates an experience in the mothers life & a similar experience in the daughters life thirty years later. Beautiful little short film.

This is such a cool short. And for the people who might ask in the future (and probably don't know it), a this is short because is a "short film". They last less than an hour, unlike a feature film, that normally lasts one hour or two.

I subtitled this in Brazilian Portuguese and it took me soooooo long to figure out that Dakota says "Gibson Hummingbird" at the time, I didn't know anything about guitars, I had to Google what I thought I heard to make sure it was right!

@xXEmptyEyesXx This short film is not on the open market. I've been looking for it myself and finally had to tweet Hudson and Chinoy to ask where I could get a copy. What I was told was that it's not in general circulation. Basically it was an art film, a short, done for one of the film festivals (I can't remember which one). I guess they didn't see the need to market it because it's only 13 minutes long. I don't know why they couldn't at least offer it on iTunes.
