All looks good, but like ALL Datron demo's the part that is being machined is very flat and generic.... I'm yet to see how a Datron (which for the most part is a large format 3 axis machine) can use set-ups like pyramids Etc. to broaden the range of geometry of parts that can be made. Has ANYONE ever seen a Datron mill a deep pocket? It would be great if they also showed some more breakdowns of their whole run process. Yes the probe makes setup time quite quick, but the chip to chip time of the tool changer is very slow, would be great if at the end of each demo they provided some stats about the part that has just been produced (i.e. full run time, volume of removed material, number of tool changes required, surface precision achieved Etc.)

Dear Temptt, thank you for your comment, which is very valuable. DATRON Tech Talk is about exemplary applications. We will take your suggestions for improvement into consideration. We offer all kinds of DATRON machine sizes, from compact like DATRON neo to large format like DATRON MXCube and DATRON MLCube. As far as deep pockets are concerned, of course we can make chips fly faster. If you want to see deeper insights into the processes, our current Tech Talk series is well suited to learn more about parameters of the milling process.
