Great tip with the ruler. I have a black line marked on all of my scoreboards. Crafter’s Companion showed why to put a black line down the track, so it helps me. I saw this scoreboard awhile ago and forgot about it. I got the small one by WeR Memory Keepers on HSN March 7th. Thanks for the great information. ❤

I have the several small scoreboards, I'm glad that when I purchased them, I used embellishment mousse & spread it across the numbers (wiped off the excess), now I can read the RECESSED numbers WITHOUT my glasses, as now I'm beginning to need readers or bifocals. This is wonderful! I like the Cutter Pillar brand, just can't afford them, even if on sale.

Interesting - I like this scoreboard because I like clear things. I thought people marked their scoreboards so that they could make sure they stayed on the right channel because sometimes it's hard to know you're scoring in a straight line. I looked that one up - the only reason I would want this is because it's clear and, like I said, I like clear things. I just think they're easier to use and, as you showed with the light box, they can make projects where you need to see through or trace things a little easier - like if you need to score lots of lines in different directions and you made a template and put the template under the paper on the scoreboard. I'll have to wait til there's a big sale on this scoreboard though. Still it's a great little tool and you did a nice job showcasing its benefits. I don't make a ton of cards so I don't mind the scores I make with my ball stylus or the tool that came with my machine. I think the score this tool made may be a bit more precise though - what I like the best is that you said it doesn't crack the paper. I know with the score tool or stylus - if you press too hard you can puncture and/or cut the paper. It seems like this tool prevents that because there's only so hard you can press and only so far the tool can go so it would be hard to tear or puncture anything. You find cool tools. Ima have to put a freeze on watching you, woman! You make me want too much stuff and I don't have the finances for it right now!!!!! :D Anyway - have fun with your goodies for me and all the other crafters out there who wish they lived next to YOU and play in YOUR craft room. I 1000% agree with you. I, honestly, am new to crafting and I try to make due with what I have and what I can afford and I often try to just come up with my own substitutes for wonderful tools, but if I am really honest - the results just aren't the same. I prefer to have the right tool for the job. I remember wanting a gel plate so bad, but just wasn't in the budget so I tried to brute force it and make one some other way - it worked, but the results weren't as satisfying to me - but it was doable. And then I found a big sale on gel plates on Amazon and was able to get one for like 75% off. I haven't used it yet, but when I do - I KNOW the results will be so much better. Sometimes you just have to be patient and wait to be able to get the things you really need. I have so many ideas, but not the tools to manifest them - right now. But, like you already know, GOD IS GOOD. And I'll get the things I need.

I bought this same one in the last year and I really like it. The ruler was a big factor plus it truly gives a professional looking score.
