SUPPLIES
In the UK, you can get the Cutterpillar on Create & Craft TV or on Amazon.
Here's the link to my Amazon favourites list, where you'll see both the Pro and Crop, as well as my other crafting recommendations.
www.amazon.co.uk/shop/sharonc...
I update that page regularly so if you like to shop on Amazon, it's worth bookmarking.
In the US you can buy directly from Cutterpillar
www.cutterpillar.com/cutterpi...
There's also a list on their website of stores in Canada that stock it. For Australia they don't have any listed, but when I googled it some came up, so I'd say if you're not in the UK or US, check Amazon or google to see if it's available without needing to pay a lot of shipping.

I am a freelance designer for Sizzix, so all Sizzix products will have been sent to me free of charge as part of my design work. Thank you for your honest review of this amazing product! I have one on order from my local craft store here in New Zealand. I laughed when you said what you hated about it, and said "I bet it's the colour of it!" I am also not a fan of the frog green color, but at least I will be able to easily see it on my desk! I love the idea that I can cut 12 x 12 card/paper easily with it. At the moment I have a smaller guillotine which is fine, but I can't cut the 12x12 size with it, which is frustrating. I also love that the Cutterpillar is self sharpening. I also love the idea of the light, especially for those cold dark days of Winter that are heading my way! I am SO looking forward to mine arriving! Thank you so much for the fabulous and honest review of this awesome cutter! I make cards mostly, but also journals, and sometimes want to use thicker card stock, but my guillotine will not cut it properly. The Cutterpillar will make my crafting life a lot easier! Apologies for my excited ramblings! Many thanks - stay well and happy crafting! xx

I love mine too Sharon! I have a metal one which I had to wait 8 months for but am so glad I did. It’s still going strong! I’m glad you said you cut matboard with it- I use my guillotine cutter for that but will have to give it a try! Thanks for that tip ❤️😍👏

So glad I saw this video. I did not know the blade had a lifetime warranty. Also love the tip with the paint. I don't mind the green, at least it isn't tonic orange lol. I'm a purple person so of course I'd love one in purple. I don't own one yet, but have had my eye on the crop for several years. Just saw Tim Holtz had come out with a rotary but the crop is cheaper, & seems to beat his by a mile. I have no use for the drawer & I love the crops arm goes to 17". Good to know it's very sturdy. Love the light. No idea why I haven't bought this yet. Probably need to sell some of the million or so paper cutters I own that I don't like as much & just get this one lol I do love one big guillotine I have that I think is tonic. I bought it when stampin up had it branded, but I think Tim Holtz has it branded now. The arm stores underneath & slots into the side. Is there anything you would ever find yourself wishing for a guillotine for with the Cutterpillar? I can't think of anything, but thought I'd ask before I add it to the destash pile with the others

Thank you Sharon. Totally agree with you. Love the trimmer, but hate the colour. White or a pale grey or even a pale blue would be so much more pleasing. Thank you for the tip regarding the rule, highlighting the numbers in white is a fabulous idea. I’ll have to do that on mine. Looking forward to your next video❤️

I love my cutterpiller, I have the crop as I don't have the space for the larger one. Thank you for the tip with the paint, I will do that. Like you I hate the colour, I thought about spray painting it at one time but didn't want to risk damaging it. X

Cutterpillar has a tutorial on their website on painting the ruler and is designed that way to give users the option of choosing their own color options. I prefer white is easier to read but some might prefer black. Thanks for info.

I agree with everything you have said. Love the trimmer but not the colour. Guess it is their “signature” colour but would love it to be white with a little discreet green logo lol.

I bought the Pro when they were launched on C&C, I agree I hate the colour too. For me I am a fan of Crafter’s Companion purple. But a white, pink, baby blue or pale grey would have been preferable. I have similar colour aversion to Tonic orange. I enjoy using it for cutting card stock but have serious issues if I need to cut a thin strip of something like an insert, it tends to bend or tear at a bad angle. I have to use craft knife and ruler or my old Fiskars on thin papers. My big regret is getting the Pro instead of the crop as I have limited space so have to store it on it’s side propped up against my desk.

I wanted one of these for a while. I found one on a destash. I was told it was new but the blade doesn't cut well. I tried to get help to resolve this but it still doesn't cut. Is there anything you can advice me as to help sharpen the blade? Yours looks so sharp. Thanks x

All I ever do with mine is run it up and down a couple of times without card, just so the rotary blade can sharpen on the the metal bar. I've been using mine constantly for 7 years without any issue at all. You can always contact Cutterpillar for advice as the blades do have a lifetime guarantee.

I will keep trying that thank you. I have contacted them and they were the ones who told me to return it to the retailer for help with the blade. As I don't know where that is, I cannot. I did watch quite a few videos too lol. X
