Cutting a tigereye cabochon

Күн бұрынThe video shows the basic steps of cutting a cabochon. Im using a 6 wheel grinding machine to cut it. The cutting process took me around 45 minutes.

a guy put the stone in the frig for a couple of minutes and it pops right off the dop no lamp needed for the final removal.

Thanks for this. What is the crit of your cerium oxide? How do you mix it up? Thick paste? Watery?

hi, cerium is not graded as a grit, i mix it between a paste and being watery. for cabochons its not real critical as it is when polishing a faceted gem with cerium.
